Abstract

Pada fase pertama ditemukan 7 out of control pada pengamatan awal dan 2 out of control pada proses revisi peta kendali.

Planibel G FL 5.0 Glass was recently used for many buildings. The quality of glass always have to be checked.. The inspection focused at the glass physical attributes such as checking for scratches, glass’s color, etc. Another inspection held to check the thickness, weight, size, and distortion. But in this case the inspection held only to record the value. In this research the statistical quality control will be performed using MEWMA and MEWMV control chart. The variable used in this research the thickness, left distortion, and right distortion of the glass. The optimum weighting for MEWMV chart were ω=0.4 and λ=0.1 which detects out of control signal compared to another weighting value. At the second phase another 2 out of control signal were also detected. This mean that the process variability were out of control for the 1st and 2nd phase. The best weighting obtained for MEWMA control chart were λ=0.1 which detect more out of control signal compared to another weighting value. At the first phase 7 out of control signal detected. Another 2 out of control signal were detected at the 1st and 2nd revision. With the 1st phase covariance matrix used for the 2nd phase 19 out of control signal were detected. Another 6 out of control signal were detected at the 1st and 2nd revision. The multivariate capability (MCpk) score were 1.386 for the 1st phase and 1.459 for the 2nd phase which means the produced glasses have been capable with the specification given by the company.
