Abstract
PT Romi Violeta adalah salah satu perusahaan mebel di Indonesia, dengan spesialisasi produk di bidang rotan dan kayu yang menawarkan ke pasar dunia. Selama ini pengendalian kualitas di PT Romi Violeta dilakukan dengan menggunakan grafik monitoring jumlah produk cacat berdasarkan kriteria cacat pada tiap proses produksi. Bahan baku utama produksi mebel yakni kayu yang memiliki sifat higroskopis (menyerap atau melepaskan kadar air). Pada penelitian ini digunakan diagram kontrol Max-MEWMA untuk monitoring kualitas produksi bahan baku mebel. Hasil diagram kontrol Max-MEWMA pada fase I telah terkendali secara statistik pada iterasi 2 setelah menghilangkan 27 pengamatan (dengan UCL dari rumus) dan 19 pengamatan (dengan UCL dari simulasi ARL) sehingga dilanjutkan pada pengendalian fase II. Pada penerapan fase II grafik kendali belum terkendali secara statistik. Volume merupakan variabel yang berkontribusi dalam menyebabkan pengamatan out of control pada penelitian ini. Terdapat 6 faktor penyebab utama proses produksi bahan baku mebel tidak terkendali secara statistik. Kapabilitas dengan indeks MPP kinerja proses produksi bahan baku mebel potensi belum baik dan belum mencapai ragam atau sebaran yang diinginkan perusahaan, sedangkan dengan menggunakan indeks mppk secara multivariat proses memiliki aktual yang rendah sehingga kinerja proses produksi bahan baku mebel tidak kapabel

PT Romi Violeta is one of the furniture companies in Indonesia, specializing in products made from rattan and wood that are offered to the global market. Quality control at PT Romi Violeta has been conducted using a graph to monitor the quantity of defective products based on defect criteria in each production process. The main raw material for furniture production is wood, which has hygroscopic properties (absorbing or releasing moisture). In this study, the MaxMEWMA control chart is used for monitoring the quality of furniture raw material production. The results of the Max-MEWMA control chart in Phase I were statistically controlled in the 2nd iteration after removing 27 observations, leading to Phase II control. In the implementation of Phase II, the control chart has not been statistically controlled. Volume is a variable contributing to out-of-control observations in this study. There are six main factors causing the statistical lack of control in the furniture raw material production process. The process capability with the MPP index for the performance of furniture raw material production process potential is not yet good and has not achieved the desired company range or dispersion, whereas when using the multivariate mppk index, the process has a low actual performance, resulting in the incapability of the furniture raw material production process
