Abstract

Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) sangatlah penting bagi perusahaan, karena keunggulan perusahaan juga dilihat dari kualitas SDM pada perusahaannya. Salah satu baiknya kualitas SDM dikarenakan sebuah organisasi atau perusahaan melaksanakan pelatihan untuk karyawannya agar berkembang keterampilan, meningkatkan intelektual, dan meningkatkan keterikatan pada karyawan. PT Petrokimia Gresik selama setahun melakukan pelatihan baik secara soft skill maupun hard skill untuk menciptakan kreativitas serta membentuk keterikatan karyawannya pada pekerjaannya. Adanya Virus COVID-19 menjadikan beberapa masalah seperti kurangnya efektivitas saat melakukan pelatihan secara online sehingga menimbulkan kebiasaan baru yang jarang dilakukan, dan berdampak pada keterikatan karyawan yang mulai berkurang terhadap pekerjaannya, sehingga menyebabkan kreativitas menurun, sehingga berdampak buruk bagi organisasi ataupun perusahaan. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh pelatihan online terhadap employee engagement dengan kreativitas sebagai variabel intervening. Metode pengumpulan data dengan membagikan kuesioner secara online dan mendapatkan sebanyak 121 responden karyawan PT Petrokimia Gresik dengan teknik sampling acak proporsional. Hasil perolehan data tersebut kemudian akan diolah menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling (PLS SEM). Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh variabel pelatihan online terhadap kreativitas, adanya pengaruh variabel kreativitas terhadap employee engagement, dan adanya pengaruh variabel pelatihan online terhadap employee engagement. Hasil dari penelitian diharapkan dapat menjadi pertimbangan bagi perusahaan dalam meningkatkan employee engagement dengan baik bagi keberlangsungan karyawan maupun perusahaan.

Human Resources (HR) is very important for companies, because the company's advantages are also seen from the quality of HR in the company. One of the qualities of human resources is because an organization or company carries out training for its employees to develop skills, improve intellectuality, and increase employee engagement. PT Petrokimia Gresik for a year conducted training in both soft skills and hard skills to create creativity and form employee attachment to work. The existence of the COVID-19 Virus has caused several problems such as the lack of effectiveness when conducting online training, giving rise to new habits that are less common, and having an impact on increasing employee performance, causing creativity to decline, thus having a negative impact on the organization and company. Therefore, this study aims to measure the effect of online training on employee engagement with creativity as an intervening variable. The data collection method was by distributing online questionnaires and getting as many as 121 respondents from PT Petrokimia Gresik employees with proportional random sampling technique. The data results will then be processed using descriptive analysis and Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results of the hypothesis test show that there is an influence of online training variables on creativity, there is an influence of creativity on employee engagement, and there is an influence of online training variables on employee engagement. The results of the research are expected to be a consideration for companies in increasing employee engagement both for the sustainability of employees and the company.
