Abstract

Pengereman bagi sebuah kendaraan merupakan salah satu faktor yang sangat penting yang mempengaruhi keamanan dan kestabilan arah kendaraan. Kinerja atau kemampuan sistem pengereman kendaraan dapat dinilai dari jarak pengereman minimum, dan kestabilan arah kendaraan pada saat pengereman. Pada tugas akhir kali ini akan dilakukan analisis stabilitas kendaraan pada kendaraan HyVI (Sapujagad). Analisis dilakukan dengan melakukan perumusan pada jarak pengereman minimum dan distribusi pengereman (Kbf dan Kbr), sehingga dapat diketahui kinerja pengereman kendaraan tersebut terhadap kestabilan arah kendaraan (oversteer, understeer) dengan memvariasikan kecepatan. Hasil yang didapatkankan dari tugas akhir ini adalah jarak pengereman minimum kendaraan dengan kecepatan yang berbeda, dan distribusi pengereman yang ideal untuk kendaraan.

Braking for a vehicle is one of the most important factors that affect the security and stability of the direction of the vehicle. Performance or the ability of the vehicle braking system can be judged from the minimum braking distance, and direction of the vehicle stability during braking. The final project will be the analysis of the stability of the vehicle at the vehicle HyVI (Sapujagad). Analyses were performed with the formulation of the minimum braking distance and braking distribution (Kbf dan Kbr), so that it can be seen that the braking performance of the vehicle stability toward vehicle (oversteer, understeer) by varying the speed. The results are from this final project is the minimum braking distances of vehicles with different speeds, and braking distribution that is ideal for vehicles.
