Abstract

Climate change is driving major transformations in offshore and coastal areas globally, with rising sea levels, tidal floods and high waves being the impact of climate change. Sea walls, which are coast-parallel structures, are used to reduce the impact of land loss due to tidal flooding and rising sea levels. Cities in coastal areas use sea walls as a strategic measure to protect coastlines and reduce the impact of rising sea levels. The absence of protective structures, such as sea walls, makes coastal communities vulnerable to infrastructure damage and property loss due to tidal floods and rising sea levels. The implementation of project management is very necessary in the construction of sea walls because of the vital function of sea walls as coastal protection. In this Final Project, research and calculations of acceleration of duration, costs and probability of success were carried out using the Critical Path Method, Time Cost Trade Off and Program Evaluation Review Technique with a case study of PT ABC's X Sea wall construction project. Then, optimization calculations were also carried out for the acceleration duration costs using Linear Programming. Based on the analysis carried out, there are 18 critical path activities that need to be accelerated with the addition of 3 workers. The results of the accelerated duration resulted in the project duration being 14 days faster from the initial total duration of 712 days to 698 days at a cost of Rp. 167.281.124.211 with a success probability of 99.96%. The results of cost optimization have an impact on reducing costs to Rp. 166.599.469.378
