Abstract

Kebutuhan akan permintaan genteng yang berkualitas dan desain mesin-mesin produksi sangat diperlukan oleh perusahaan Genteng. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas produksinya maka diperlukan desain perencanaan mesin-mesin produksi genteng terutama pada mesin pencampur yang perlu adanya perbaikan pada screw dengan menggunakan dua screw conveyor jenis paddle flight yang berfungsi sebagai pembawa sekaligus pencampur maka pencampuran bahan akcan lebih merata. Dengan mengetahui kebutuhan a/at produksi genteng yang lebih baik, maka kita dapat mendesain, merencanakan dan menghitung seberapa besar daya yang dibutuhkan untuk menggerakkan komponen seperti : belt, pulley, roda gigi, screw conveyor, poros, dan dapat menentukan kapasitas mesin -mesin produksi genteng. Hasil dari perencanaan dan perhitungan, didapat alat alat produksi, antara lain seperti : Mesin box feeder, dengan kapasitas 10,5 ton/jam, daya 0,5 Hp dan putaran 0,8 rpm; Mesin pencampur, dengan kapasitas 10,5 ton/jam, daya 0,25 Hp dan putaran 120 rpm; Mesin vacuum extruder, dengan kapasitas 10,5x ton/jam, daya 0,33 Hp dan putaran 25 rpm; Mesin pencetak, dengan kapasitas 10,5 ton/jam (3000 genteng/jam) daya 0,5 Hp dan putaran 27 rpm

The need for quality roof tiles and the design of production machines is very necessary for roof tile companies. To improve the quality of production, it is necessary to design planning for roof tile production machines, especially for mixing machines which require improvements to the screw by using two paddle flight type screw conveyors which function as carriers and mixers so that the mixing of the materials will be more even. By knowing the needs for better roof tile production facilities, we can design, plan and calculate how much power is needed to move components such as: belts, pulleys, gears, screw conveyors, shafts, and can determine the capacity of production machines rooftile. As a result of planning and calculations, production equipment was obtained, including: Box feeder machine, with a capacity of 10.5 tons/hour, power 0.5 HP and rotation 0.8 rpm; Mixing machine, with a capacity of 10.5 tons/hour, power 0.25 HP and rotation 120 rpm; Vacuum extruder machine, with a capacity of 10.5x tons/hour, power 0.33 HP and rotation 25 rpm; Printing machine, with a capacity of 10.5 tons/hour (3000 tiles/hour) power 0.5 HP and 27 rpm rotation
