Abstract

PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang didirikan pada tahun 2009 dengan produk sepatu yang dihasilkan yaitu sepatu anak perempuan dan sepatu anak laki-laki berukuran 33-36 merek Galetti. Jenis sepatu perempuan dengan ukuran 35 merupakan jenis sepatu yang memiliki tingkat penjualan tertinggi. Perusahaan berupaya untuk menjaga kualitas sepatu dengan dilakukannya kegiatan inspeksi dimana karakteristik kualitasnya adalah pemotongan bahan simetris, outsole rata, upper rapi dan kuat, kualitas jahitan, tempelan merek simetris, kesesuaian nomer insole dengan outsole, kualitas perekat atau lem. Standar produk cacat yang telah ditentukan perusahaan sebesar 3%. Namun, terjadi peningkatan jumlah produk cacat pada bulan November sebesar 3,5% dan Desember 3,8%. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengidentifikasi kapabilitas proses produksi dan faktor terjadinya ketidaksesuaian pada hasil proses produksi menggunakan peta kendali u. Kesimpulan dari hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan adalah proses produksi sepatu pada PT. XYZ dikatakan tidak kapabel karena memiliki nilai kapabilitas yang kurang dari 1 namun terdapat peningkatan kualitas proses produksi. Akar pernyebab terjadinya produk cacat cenderung berasal dari faktor manusia, material, dan mesin.

PT. XYZ is a company founded in 2009 whose shoe products are girls' shoes and boys' shoes measuring 33-36 under the Galetti brand. The type of women's shoe with size 35 is the type of shoe that has the highest sales level. The company strives to maintain the quality of shoes by carrying out inspection activities where the quality characteristics are symmetrical material cutting, flat outsole, neat and strong upper, stitching quality, symmetrical branding, compatibility of insole numbers with outsole, adhesive or glue quality. The standard for product defects that has been determined by the company is 3%, but there are a number of defective products that exceed the standard in November 2022 at 3.5% and December at 3.8% due to new workers. Based on this, the researcher's aim is to identify the capabilities of the production process and the resulting shoe products that meet the standards determined by the company. The conclusion from the results of the analysis that has been carried out is that the shoe production process at PT XYZ in phase I and phase II is said to be incapable because it has a capability value that is less than 1. The root causes of defective products tend to come from human, material, and machine factors.
