Abstract

PT. PLN Nusantara Power UP Paiton adalah perusahaan pembangkit listrik tenaga uap yang menggunakan batubara sebagai bahan bakarnya. Dalam memenuhi beban listrik yang diminta PLN, salah satu cara yang dilakukan PLTU UP Paiton adalah dengan mengatur feedrate bahan bakar menuju Boiler. Untuk mengatur seberapa banyak feed batubara digunakan Coal Feeder.Pada PLTU UP Paiton sendiri sering diadakan preventive maintenance berupa inpeksi pemeliharaan rutin mingguan dan internal check 3 bulan sekali. Preventive Maintenance pada coal feeder dilakukan untuk mencegah terjadinya kerusakan pada coal feeder.Hal ini penting karena perawatan alat-alat pendukung seperti coal feeder pada PLTU UP Paiton harus diperhatikan supaya kinerja coal feeder selalu optimal dan tidak terjadi breakdown yang bisa menyebabkan gagalnya proses produksi.

PT PLN Nusantara Power UP Paiton is a steam power plant company that uses coal as its fuel. In meeting the electricity load requested by PLN, one of the ways PLTU UP Paiton does is to adjust the fuel feedrate to the Boiler. In PLTU UP Paiton itself, preventive maintenance is often held in the form of weekly routine maintenance inspections and internal checks every 3 months. Preventive Maintenance on the coal feeder is carried out to prevent damage to the coal feeder. This is important because the maintenance of supporting equipment such as coal feeders at PLTU UP Paiton must be considered so that the performance of the coal feeder is always optimal and there is no breakdown that can cause the failure of the production process.
