Abstract
No. 3 Good Health and Well-Being.

Indonesia as a country rich in food resources faces critical challenges in monitoring and handling problems in the field of food security. National food control has the role of protecting consumer health and ensuring food safety, which is in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) No. 2 Zero Hunger and No. 3 Good Health and Well-Being. The main problem that arises is the spread of formalin-containing staple foods in the market. This research proposes the creation of a formalin measurement tool with an android interface. This tool is designed using a temperature control system equipped with an HCHO sensor as a formalin sensor and an RTD PT100 sensor as a temperature sensor. The results of this research show that the RTD PT100 sensor used has an accuracy rate of 98.9%. The temperature control system successfully maintains the temperature at the set point of 50°C by deactivating the heater when the temperature reaches 50°C and reactivating it if the temperature is below 50°C. The tool performance test carried out on tofu samples has an accuracy of 95,8%, milkfish samples have an accuracy of 95.72%, and salted fish samples have an accuracy of 95,7%. This tool has provided formalin measurement results practically, quickly, and can increase efficiency in detecting formalin in food products, and can contribute to improving food security and consumer health in Indonesia.
