Abstract
Kegagalan sistem kelistrikan pada kapal menjadi salah satu masalah yang berpotensi menyebabkan kecelakaan serius. Salah satu jenis kegagalan sistem kelistrikan kapal yang sering terjadi adalah low insulation fault. Low insulation fault merupakan kondisi di mana resistansi isolasi dalam sistem kelistrikan menurun di bawah ambang batas yang aman. Kegagalan ini sering terjadi karena banyak faktor, antara lain peralatan yang aus karena usia, kondisi lingkungan kapal yang lembab, serta pemeliharaan yang kurang memadai. Selain itu, kecelakaan kapal yang terjadi di berbagai aspek operasional kapal juga seringkali disebabkan oleh human error. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut dengan membuat game simulasi berbasis Unreal Engine 5 untuk edukasi penanganan low insulation fault pada kelistrikan kapal. Metodologi meliputi pengumpulan data, pembuatan lingkungan kapal, pengembangan simulasi dan level, dan pengujian. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pemain mengalami peningkatan skor dan pengurangan waktu selama pengujian. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa permainan yang dibuat dapat memenuhi kebutuhan untuk edukasi mengenai penanganan low insulation fault pada sistem kelistrikan kapal serta meningkatkan kompetensi peserta dalam menangani masalah pada kelistrikan di kapal.

Electrical system failures on ships are one of the issues that can potentially lead to serious accidents. One common type of electrical system failure on ships is the low insulation fault. Low insulation fault is a condition where the insulation resistance in the electrical system drops below a safe threshold. This failure often occurs due to several factors, including equipment wear due to age, the humid environmental conditions of the ship, and inadequate maintenance. Additionally, ship accidents in various operational aspects are often caused by human error. The research aims to address this issue by creating an Unreal Engine 5-based simulation game for educating on handling low insulation faults in ship electrical systems. The methodology includes data collection, ship environment creation, simulation and level development, and testing. The result of this study is that players experienced an increase in scores and a reduction in time during testing. Therefore, it can be concluded that the game can meet the needs for education on handling low insulation faults in ship electrical systems, as well as improving participants' skills in addressing electrical issues on ships.
