Abstract

Prosentase jenis perawatan diantaranya Planned Maintenance (PM) sebesar 22,78%, Condition Monitoring (CM) sebesar 48,95%, Finding Failure (FF) sebesar 1,27% dan One-Time Change (OTC) sebesar 27,00%.

Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) is a process of analyzing the functions and potential failures of a system to identify the consequences of those failures and establish appropriate preventive actions. The primary goal is to reduce maintenance costs and avoid unnecessary actions. This research focuses on the Ro-Ro Ferry KMP. X owned by PT. Ferry Ro-Ro, which experienced a 37.75% failure rate in its propulsion function from 2015-2024. According to marine incident data from the Japan Transport Safety Board, 79% of cases of loss of ship control are due to machinery and propulsion failures. Therefore, an RCM analysis will be conducted on the fuel system and lubrication system to minimize failures. The research findings on the fuel system identified 166 failure modes, with category A having a percentage of 54.19% with 84 task lists, category B having a percentage of 24.52% with 38 task lists, and category C having a percentage of 21.29% with 33 task lists. The percentage of maintenance types includes Planned Maintenance (PM) at 36.77%, Condition Monitoring (CM) at 35.48%, Finding Failure (FF) at 1.29%, and One-Time Change (OTC) at 26.45%. In the lubrication system, 234 failure modes were identified, with category A having a percentage of 40.51% with 96 task lists, category B having a percentage of 30.38% with 72 task lists, and category C having a percentage of 29.11% with 69 task lists. The percentage of maintenance types includes Planned Maintenance (PM) at 22.78%, Condition Monitoring (CM) at 48.95%, Finding Failure (FF) at 1.27%, and One-Time Change (OTC) at 27.00%.
