Abstract

Era digitalisasi menimbulkan dampak positif bagi perkembangan bisnis di Indonesia, salah satunya yaitu munculnya konsep paperless office atau tempat kerja yang menggunakan lebih sedikit kertas. Perkembangan teknologi yang diadaptasi pada sektor bisnis oleh suatu perusahaan atau instansi menciptakan suatu konsep untuk membangun suatu lingkungan perkantoran untuk menggunakan kertas seminimal mungkin dan beralih kepada pemanfaatan teknologi sebagai pengganti kegiatan yang berhubungan dengan penggunaan kertas, dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dalam kegiatan operasional perusahaan. Salah satu instansi atau perusahaan yang mengadopsi kebijakan paperless adalah PT United Tractors Tbk. Dengan menginisiasi program transaksi nirkertas atau paperless transaction yang bertajuk “Go Paperless with UT”. Program ini mengajak para pelanggannya yang merupakan perusahaan-perusahaan business to business (B2B) untuk beralih dari transaksi manual yang menggunakan kertas ke transaksi digital. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya, terdapat beberapa kendala seperti kurang maksimalnya sosialisasi yang dilakukan kepada customer terutama penggunaan media, untuk itu diperlukan sebuah inovasi media yang dapat menjangkau pemahaman customer secara luas. Perancangan video eksplainer ini menggunakan beberapa metode penelitian. Studi literatur mengenai konsep paperless transaction, sosialisasi, corporate communication, marketing, video eksplainer dan motion graphic, melakukan depth interview kepada stakeholder perancangan, studi eksisting, studi komparator terhadap video eksplainer sejenis, dan perancangan konsep desain dengan studi eksperimental. Tujuan dari perancangan video eksplainer ini adalah untuk mensosialisasikan program paperless transaction sebagai solusi bagi perusahaan untuk menciptakan proses bisnis yang efektif dan efisien yang diharapkan dapat mengedukasi, memberikan wawasan, dan menginformasikan kepada customer PT United Tractors Tbk mengenai konsep paperless dalam kegiatan transaksi sehingga dapat menciptakan proses bisnis yang efektif dan efisien.

The era of digitalization has had a positive impact on business development in Indonesia, one of which is the emergence of the concept of a paperless office or a workplace that uses less paper. The development of technology adapted to the business sector by a company or agency creates an idea to build an office environment that uses as little paper as possible and switch to the use of technology as a substitute for activities related to the use of paper, with the aim of increasing efficiency in the company's operational activities. One of the companies or agencies that have adopted a paperless policy is PT United Tractors Tbk. By initiating a paperless transaction program entitled “Go Paperless with UT”. This program invites its customers who are business-to-business (B2B) companies to switch from manual transactions using paper to digital transactions. However, in its implementation, there are several obstacles such as the lack of maximum socialization carried out to customers, especially the use of media, for this reason, a media innovation is needed that can reach a broad understanding of customers. This explainer video design uses several research methods. Literature studies on paperless transactions, socialization, corporate communication, marketing, explainer videos, and motion graphics, conducting in-depth interviews with design stakeholders, existing studies, comparator studies of similar explainer videos, and designing design concepts with experimental studies. The purpose of this explainer video design is to socialize the paperless transaction program as a solution for companies to create effective and efficient business processes that are expected to educate, provide insight, and inform PT United Tractors Tbk customers about the concept of paperless transaction activities to create effective and efficient business processes.
