Abstract
Tesis ini membahas desain dan analisa performansi rotary antiblocking pada outlet coal bunker. Dimana rotary anti blocking berfungsi menghilangkan blocking batubara pada outlet coal bunker sebelum digunakan sebagai bahan bakar pada boiler. Batubara yang digunakan merupakan tipe low rank coal yang mempunyai moisture tinggi dan nilai kalori rendah sehingga dapat menyebabkan blocking yang menyebabkan stop operasi pada pulverizer mill sehingga unit mengalami kehilangan produksi (MWH)Losses. Rotary anti blocking di desain menggunakan scrapper/knife yang berputar pada dinding bagian dalam outlet coal bunker dengan Kecepatan 1 Rpm dengan torsi 50.150 N.m. Scrapper/knife berada pada area rotor yang terhubung dengan slewing bearing dan digerakkan oleh motor gearbox dengan daya 5,5 kW dan ratio 1:465. Untuk menentukan desain dimensi maka harus mengetahui terlebih dahulu ukuran eksisting peralatan coal bunker menuju coal feeder, Sementara untuk desain material menggunakan material yang tahan abrasive dikarenakan batubara memiliki tingkat zat asam yang tinggi. Seperti penggunaan material stainless steel pada liner body rotary anti blocking dan material manganese steel JIS SCMnH11 pada scrapper/knife. Adapun percobaan rotary anti blocking bertujuan untuk menentukan nilai optimal sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai standard pengoperasian alat tersebut dengan menentukan jumlah putaran scrapper/knife rotary anti blocking hingga tidak terjadi gangguan blocking pada outlet coal bunker. Percobaan tersebut dilakukan pada masing�masing karakteristik dengan waktu operasi, setiap 15 menit, 30 menit dan 60 menit serta pada variasi flow coal feeder 15 ton/jam, 20 ton/jam, dan 25 ton/jam. Maka dapat ditentukan nilai optimal yaitu pada flow coal feeder 15 ton/jam, dengan 1 kali putaran scrapper/knife rotary anti blocking pada waktu operasi setiap 15 dan 30 menit. Pada flow coal feeder 20 ton/jam, dengan 2 kali putaran scrapper/knife rotary anti blocking pada waktu operasi setiap 15 dan 30 menit, sedangkan pada flow coal feeder 25 ton/jam, dengan 2 kali putaran scrapper/knife rotary anti blocking pada waktu operasi setiap 15 menit.

This thesis discusses the design and performance analysis of rotary antiblocking at coal bunker outlets. Where the rotary anti-blocking is to remove blocking/plugging at the outlet of the coal bunker before being used as fuel in the boiler. Blocking at the outlet of the coal bunker can cause stop operating mill so that the unit loses production opportunities. Rotary anti-blocking is designed using a scrapper/knife that rotates on the inner wall of the coal bunker outlet with a speed of 1 Rpm with a torque of 50.150 Nm. The scrapper /knife is located in the rotor area which is connected to the slewing bearing and is driven by a motor gearbox with a power of 5.5 kW and ratio 1:465. To determine
the design dimensions, it is necessary to know in advance the size of the existing coal bunker to coal feeder. Meanwhile, for material design, use materials that are abrasive resistant because coal has a high acid level. Such as the use of stainless steel on the anti-blocking rotary body liner and JIS SCMnH11 manganese steel material on the scrapper/knife. The rotary anti-blocking experiment aims to determine the optimal value so that it can be used as a standard operation for the tool by determining the number of rotations of the anti-blocking scrapper/knife interference does not occur blocking at the coal bunker outlet. The experiment was carried out on each characteristic with operating time, every 15 minutes, 30 minutes and 60 minutes as well as on variations in flow coal feeder 15 tons/hour, 20 tons/hour, and 25 tons/hour.
