Abstract

Industri air mineral yang ditemukan di lapangan menerapkan teknologi pengolahan air mineral yang berbeda-beda, dimana beberapa industri menggunakan teknologi yang kurang tepat bila dilihat dari jenis air baku yang akan diolah. Pengolahan air mineral yang efektif merupakan kunci keberhasilan dalam industri air mineral, di mana kualitas produk dan proses bisnis sangat bergantung pada teknologi pengolahan air yang dipilih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan memilih teknologi pengolahan air yang optimal untuk industri air mineral dengan menggunakan metode Vise Kriterijumska Optimizacija Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR) serta evaluasi ekonomi melalui metrik seperti IRR, NPV, dan PBP. Metode ini untuk mempertimbangkan berbagai kriteria yang relevan, seperti kualitas produk keluaran, efisiensi, biaya, dampak lingkungan, dan kepuasan pelanggan. Batasan pada penelitian ini adalah bahwa air baku yang digunakan hanya berasal dari sumber air tanah, sehingga teknologi yang dianalisis disesuaikan dengan karakteristik air tanah sebagai bahan utama. Proses penelitian dimulai dengan pengumpulan data dari beberapa teknologi pengolahan air industri air mineral di Kecamatan Pandaan, Kabupaten Pasuruan, Provinsi Jawa Timur. Metode VIKOR diterapkan untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan teknologi – teknologi tersebut, serta evaluasi ekonomi melalui metrik seperti IRR, NPV, dan PBP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi pada perusahaan F menduduki peringkat tertinggi dengan nilai kompromi terendah (Q). Temuan dari penelitian ini dapat memberikan wawasan bagi industri air mineral dalam memilih teknologi pengolahan air yang tepat, serta memberikan kontribusi bagi penelitian di bidang pengolahan air. Rekomendasi untuk implementasi teknologi yang dipilih juga disajikan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas produk

The bottled water industry applies different water treatment technologies, with some industries using technologies that are less appropriate when considering the type of raw water to be processed. Effective water treatment is the key to success in the bottled water industry, as product quality and business processes heavily depend on the selected water treatment technology. This study aims to evaluate and select the optimal water treatment technology for the bottled water industry using the Vise Kriterijumska Optimizacija Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR) method, along with economic evaluation through metrics such as IRR, NPV, and PBP. This method considers various relevant criteria, such as product quality, efficiency, costs, environmental impact, and customer satisfaction. This research is limited to using groundwater as the only raw water source, so the technologies analyzed are tailored to the characteristics of groundwater as the primary input. The research process begins with data collection from several water treatment technologies used in the bottled water industry in the Pandaan District, Pasuruan Regency, East Java Province. The VIKOR method is then applied to analyze and compare these technologies, along with economic evaluation using metrics such as IRR, NPV, and PBP. The results of the study indicate that the technology used by Company F ranked highest with the lowest compromise value (Q). The findings of this study are expected to provide insights for the bottled water industry in selecting the appropriate water treatment technology, as well as contribute to research in the field of water treatment. Recommendations for the implementation of the selected technology are also presented to improve efficiency and product quality.
