Abstract

Laporan magang ini disusun berdasarkan pelaksanaan magang industri yang dilakukan di PT. X, sebuah perusahaan karoseri di Malang. Tujuan utama dari kegiatan magang ini adalah untuk menerapkan ilmu yang telah diperoleh selama perkuliahan, serta merancang dokumen instruksi kerja guna mendukung efisiensi dan keselamatan dalam proses produksi. Proses perancangan dokumen instruksi kerja dimulai dari observasi lapangan, analisis data, hingga implementasi dan evaluasi dokumen yang disusun. Dengan pendekatan Root Cause Analysis (RCA), magang ini fokus pada identifikasi akar masalah dalam produksi sub-assembly dan menyusun instruksi kerja yang sistematis, terstruktur, dan mudah dipahami. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa dokumen instruksi kerja yang baik dapat meminimalkan kesalahan kerja, mempercepat proses produksi, dan meningkatkan kualitas produk secara keseluruhan.

This internship report is based on the industrial internship conducted at PT. X, a coachbuilder company located in Malang. The main objective of the internship was to apply theoretical knowledge gained during academic studies and to design work instruction documents that enhance efficiency and safety in the production process. The design process of the work instructions involved field observation, data analysis, implementation, and evaluation. Using the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) method, the internship focused on identifying root causes of issues in the sub-assembly process and developing structured, systematic, and user-friendly work instructions. The results indicate that well-designed work instructions can reduce operational errors, accelerate production time, and improve overall product quality.
