Abstract
Building Information Modeling (BIM) telah diakui sebagai pendekatan teknologi strategis yang mampu meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, integrasi informasi, dan kolaborasi lintas stakeholder dalam proyek konstruksi. Namun demikian, di tengah akselerasi transformasi digital sektor konstruksi di Indonesia, implementasi BIM masih menghadapi tantangan berupa rendahnya keterlibatan stakeholder, kompleksitas koordinasi antarpihak, serta BIM User Satisfaction yang belum memadai dalam mendukung peningkatan Project Performance. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model evaluatif yang menganalisis pengaruh BIM Implementation terhadap Project Performance, dengan mempertimbangkan peran dari Stakeholder Dynamics, Stakeholder Engagement or Empowerment, dan BIM User Satisfaction. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif melalui survei terhadap praktisi konstruksi dari perusahaan-perusahaan konstruksi di Indonesia yang telah menerapkan BIM. Sebanyak 155 sampel dipilih berdasarkan kriteria relevansi peran dalam proyek. Instrumen kuesioner disusun berdasarkan studi literatur terdahulu dan diuji validitas serta reliabilitasnya sebelum digunakan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 4. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terbentuknya model konseptual yang menjelaskan keterkaitan antara BIM Implementation, Stakeholder Management (yang mencakup Stakeholder Dynamics dan Stakeholder Engagement or Empowerment), serta BIM User Satisfaction dalam mendorong peningkatan Project Performance. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis terhadap pengembangan literatur implementasi BIM serta memberikan rekomendasi praktis bagi optimalisasi strategi implementasi BIM dalam konteks industri konstruksi Indonesia.

Building Information Modeling (BIM) has been recognized as a strategic technological approach capable of enhancing operational efficiency, information integration, and cross-stakeholder collaboration in construction projects. However, amidst the accelerated digital transformation of Indonesia’s construction sector, BIM implementation still faces challenges such as low stakeholder involvement, complex coordination between parties, and inadequate BIM User Satisfaction in supporting improved Project Performance. This study aims to develop an evaluative model that analyzes the influence of BIM Implementation on Project Performance, considering the roles of Stakeholder Dynamics, Stakeholder Engagement or Empowerment, and BIM User Satisfaction. The research methodology employs a quantitative approach through a survey of construction practitioners from Indonesian firms that have implemented BIM. A total of 155 samples were selected based on the relevance of their roles within projects. The questionnaire instrument was developed based on previous literature studies and underwent validity and reliability testing prior to use. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with the assistance of SmartPLS 4 software. The results of this study establish a conceptual model explaining the interrelationships between BIM Implementation, Stakeholder Management (encompassing Stakeholder Dynamics and Stakeholder Engagement or Empowerment), and BIM User Satisfaction in driving Project Performance improvements. This research provides a theoretical contribution to the expansion of BIM implementation literature and offers practical recommendations for optimizing BIM implementation strategies within the context of the Indonesian construction industry.
