Abstract

Building Information Modeling (BIM) adalah pendekatan digital dalam industri konstruksi yang mampu meningkatkan efisiensi perencanaan dan pelaksanaan proyek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan metode konvensional dan metode BIM dalam pekerjaan struktur bangunan pada proyek Gedung Kuliah Terpadu Politeknik Perkapalan Negeri Surabaya. Pemodelan struktur dilakukan menggunakan Autodesk Revit untuk memperoleh volume pekerjaan beton, bekisting, dan pembesian. Volume yang dihasilkan kemudian digunakan dalam penyusunan Rencana Anggaran Pelaksanaan (RAP). Model 3D juga diintegrasikan ke dalam Autodesk Navisworks Manage untuk menghasilkan simulasi penjadwalan 4D.Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa metode BIM memberikan efisiensi dibanding metode konvensional. Dengan selisih perbandingan volume beton konvensional dan BIM sebesar 4.27%, perbedaan volume besi sebesar 2.19%, dan perbedaan volume bekisting sebesar 2.49% . Durasi pelaksanaan konvensional selama 119 hari, sedangkan BIM hanya 116 hari. Dari segi biaya, RAP metode konvensional sebesar Rp 12.736.059.232,55, sedangkan BIM sebesar Rp 12.785.630.212,16, menghasilkan peningkatan biaya Rp 49.570.979,62 atau sekitar 0.389 %.

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a digital approach in the construction industry that enhances the efficiency of project planning and execution. This study aims to compare the conventional method and the BIM-based method in structural work for the Integrated Lecture Building project at Polytechnic of Shipbuilding Surabaya. Structural modeling was carried out using Autodesk Revit to obtain the volume of concrete, formwork, and reinforcement work. The resulting quantities were then used for preparing the Construct Budget Plan. The 3D model was also integrated into Autodesk Navisworks Manage to generate a 4D scheduling simulation. The analysis results show that the BIM method provides greater efficiency compared to the conventional method. The volume difference between conventional and BIM methods was 4.27% for concrete, 2.19% for reinforcement, and 2.49% for formwork. The construction duration using the conventional method was 119 days, while BIM only required 116 days. In terms of cost, the Construct Budget Plan using the conventional method amounted to Rp 12.736.059.232,55 while the BIM method resulted in Rp 12.785.630.212,16, resulted in a cost increase of Rp 49.570.979,62 or approximately 0,389 %.
