Abstract
Penelitian ini menyoroti ketidakkonsistenan penggunaan logo, slogan, dan identitas visual antar sektor di Kabupaten Bojonegoro yang berdampak pada lemahnya citra, karakter, dan daya ingat publik terhadap daerah. Perbedaan visual, lemahnya koordinasi lintas aktor, serta belum adanya panduan terpadu menunjukkan bahwa identitas visual belum dimanfaatkan secara strategis untuk membangun citra daerah yang kuat dan berkelanjutan. Karena itu, diperlukan strategi kolaboratif lintas sektor agar penerapan identitas visual berjalan konsisten, efektif, dan jangka panjang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Design Based Research (DBR) dengan pendekatan design thinking yang mencakup empat tahap utama yaitu empathize, define, ideate, dan prototype tanpa tahap testing. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dengan Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata, media lokal, dan lembaga swadaya masyarakat atau komunitas, disertai observasi serta dokumentasi pendukung. Hasil menunjukkan kolaborasi lintas sektor masih bersifat situasional, meskipun semua aktor memiliki kesadaran serupa tentang pentingnya keseragaman visual dan komunikasi yang konsisten. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penelitian ini menghasilkan digital handbook pemanfaatan identitas visual Bojonegoro sebagai panduan strategis dan praktis bagi berbagai aktor dalam mengelola identitas visual secara terarah, aplikatif, dan berkelanjutan. Panduan ini memperkuat koordinasi, komunikasi daerah, serta mendukung SDG 11: Kota dan Komunitas Berkelanjutan, sekaligus menjadi model kolaborasi berbasis design thinking yang dapat diuji pada tahap implementasi empiris mendatang.

The inconsistency in the use of logos, slogans, and visual identity across sectors in Bojonegoro Regency, which weakens the region’s. Differences in visual application, weak cross-sector coordination, and the absence of an integrated guideline indicate that Bojonegoro’s visual identity has not been strategically utilized to build a strong and sustainable image. Therefore, a collaborative cross-sector strategy is needed to ensure consistent, effective, and longterm implementation of visual identity. This research employs the Design Based Research (DBR) method with design thinking approach with four main stages: empathize, define, ideate, and prototype, without the testing stage. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the Department of Culture and Tourism, local media, non-governmental, complemented by observation and documentation. The findings reveal that cross-sector collaboration remains situational, although all actors share awareness of the importance of visual consistency and coherent communication. Based on these findings, the study produces a digital handbook for Bojonegoro’s visual identity utilization, serving as a strategic and practical guide for stakeholders to manage the region’s visual identity in a consistent, applicable and sustainable manner. The handbook strengthens coordination, communication, and supports SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, while establishing a design thinking based collaboration model for future empirical implementation testing.
