Abstract
Magang industri merupakan salah satu kegiatan akademik yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pengalaman kerja nyata serta mengaplikasikan ilmu yang diperoleh selama perkuliahan. Kegiatan magang ini dilaksanakan di STP Otomotif ITS yang bergerak di bidang pengembangan kendaraan listrik. Fokus utama kegiatan adalah perancangan desain sepeda listrik E-BYITS sebagai solusi mobilitas ramah lingkungan di kawasan kampus. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi studi literatur, penentuan geometri, perancangan desain frame menggunakan perangkat lunak CAD, serta simulasi beban statis dan dinamis dengan metode elemen hingga (Finite Element Method). Material yang digunakan dalam perancangan dianalisis untuk memastikan kekuatan dan keamanan struktur, dengan mempertimbangkan faktor tegangan, deformasi, dan faktor keamanan. Hasil perancangan menunjukkan bahwa desain frame sepeda listrik yang dibuat mampu memenuhi kriteria kekuatan struktur berdasarkan hasil simulasi, sehingga layak untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut. Selain itu, kegiatan magang juga memberikan pemahaman terkait proses konversi kendaraan listrik, sistem wiring, serta pengujian komponen kendaraan. Dengan demikian, kegiatan magang ini tidak hanya meningkatkan kompetensi teknis, tetapi juga mendukung pengembangan inovasi kendaraan listrik sebagai bagian dari upaya menciptakan lingkungan kampus yang berkelanjutan dan ramah lingkungan.

Industrial internship is an academic activity aimed at providing real-world work experience and applying knowledge gained during academic studies. This internship was conducted at STP Otomotif ITS, which focuses on the development of electric vehicles. The main objective of this internship is the design of an E-BYITS electric bicycle as an environmentally friendly mobility solution within the campus area. The methodology used includes literature study, geometry determination, frame design using CAD software, and structural simulations under static and dynamic loads using the Finite Element Method (FEM). The selected materials were analyzed to ensure structural strength and safety by evaluating stress, deformation, and safety factors. The results indicate that the designed electric bicycle frame meets the structural strength criteria based on simulation outcomes and is feasible for further development. In addition, the internship provided practical understanding of electric vehicle conversion processes, wiring systems, and component testing. In conclusion, this internship not only enhanced technical competencies but also contributed to the development of electric vehicle innovation as part of efforts to create a sustainable and environmentally friendly campus environment.
