Abstract

Kampoeng Heritage Kajoetangan merupakan destinasi wisata di Kota Malang yang telah menerapkan konsep digital tourism yang memadukan wisata heritage dengan pemanfaatan teknologi digital. Transformasi digital ini tidak hanya mengubah sistem pengelolaan wisata, tetapi juga membuka peluang besar bagi penguatan ekonomi lokal melalui pemberdayaan pelaku Usaha, Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan digital tourism dan peranannya dalam mendukung pengembangan UMKM lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang mendalam terkait fenomena yang diteliti. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi, serta studi literatur. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, pertama, digital tourism telah diterapkan secara nyata dalam seluruh kegiatan pariwisata, melalui tiga aspek utama, yaitu promosi digital (e-promotion), pemesanan digital (e-booking), dan pembayaran (e-payment). Kedua, keberhasilan penerapan digital tourism di Kampoeng Heritage Kajoetangan dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal meliputi peran aktif Pokdarwis, pelatihan digitalisasi, serta pendampingan UMKM, sedangkan faktor eksternal berasal dari dukungan lembaga keuangan dan pemerintah. Sementara itu, hambatannya mencakup rendahnya literasi digital pelaku UMKM serta keterbatasan dukungan pendanaan dari pihak eksternal. Dukungan dari berbagai institusi eksternal melalui pelatihan, pendampingan, dan penyediaan fasilitas digital juga turut membantu keberhasilan penerapan digital tourism di kawasan ini. Ketiga, digital tourism berperan nyata bagi pengembangan UMKM dalam meningkatkan visibilitas produk, memperluas jangkauan pasar, mendukung kemudahan transaksi, serta meningkatkan daya saing UMKM. Digital tourism bermanfaat dalam meningkatan kunjungan wisata dan penjualan produk UMKM yang pada akhirnya meningkatkan pendapatan serta mendukung pengembangan UMKM lokal di Kampoeng Heritage Kajoetangan.

Kampoeng Heritage Kajoetangan is a tourist destination in Malang City that has implemented the concept of digital tourism by integrating heritage tourism with digital
technology. This digital transformation has not only changed the tourism management system but has also created significant opportunities to strengthen the local economy through the empowerment of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This study aims to examine the implementation of digital tourism and its role in supporting the development of local MSMEs. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach to gain an indepth understanding of the phenomenon under investigation. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and literature review. The data analysis process consisted of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal three main points. First, digital tourism has been implemented in tourism activities through three key aspects: digital promotion (e-promotion), digital booking (ebooking), and digital payment (e-payment). Second, the implementation of digital tourism is influenced by both supporting and inhibiting factors. The main obstacles include the low digital literacy of MSME actors, technical difficulties in using digital platforms, and limited access to financing. Meanwhile, support from the local tourism awareness group (Pokdarwis) through assistance and digitalization facilities, along with support from external institutions through training, mentoring, and digital infrastructure, has contributed to its successful implementation.Third, digital tourism plays a significant role in MSME development by increasing product visibility, expanding market reach, facilitating transactions, and enhancing competitiveness. Digital tourism is beneficial in increasing tourist visits and sales of MSME products, which ultimately increases income and supports the development of local MSMEs in Kampoeng Heritage Kajoetangan.
