Abstract
Penelitian ini merancang dan membangun Shape of U, sistem interactive digital signage berbasis exergame yang mengintegrasikan teknologi mobile-to-screen dan computer vision untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan layar publik di Departemen Teknik Informatika ITS. Mengikuti kerangka kerja Multidisciplinary Iterative Design of Exergames (MIDE), sistem dibangun dengan arsitektur client-server berbasis web yang terdiri atas Display Client (TV), Mobile Client (smartphone), dan Backend Server, dengan autentikasi melalui pemindaian QR code, estimasi pose tubuh secara real-time menggunakan PoseNet (TensorFlow.js), serta sinkronisasi antarperangkat melalui WebSocket. Pengujian terhadap 17 responden menunjukkan rata-rata pose latency sebesar 1,49 detik pada lingkungan cloud free tier; latensi ini masih tergolong deteksi real-time meski terasa selama interaksi. Evaluasi kebergunaan dengan System Usability Scale memperoleh skor rata-rata 64,71, yang termasuk kategori marginal dan sedikit di bawah ambang baku 68, terutama dipengaruhi keluhan akurasi deteksi dan latensi. Sebaliknya, evaluasi berbasis framework MIDE menghasilkan nilai tinggi pada keempat dimensi, kenikmatan bermain (5,49), motivasi intrinsik (5,57), penerimaan teknologi (5,55), serta keterlibatan fisik dan kualitas pengalaman (5,65) dari skala 6, meski disertai gejala ceiling effect. Sistem terbukti efektif mendorong aktivitas fisik ringan dan keterlibatan pengguna, dengan aspek usability sebagai fokus perbaikan utama.

This research designs and develops Shape of U, an interactive digital signage system based on an exergame that integrates mobile-to-screen technology and computer vision to optimize the use of public displays at the Department of Informatics, ITS. Following the Multidisciplinary Iterative Design of Exergames (MIDE) framework, the system was built on a web-based client-server architecture comprising a Display Client (TV), a Mobile Client (smartphone), and a Backend Server, with QR code scanning for authentication, real-time body pose estimation using PoseNet (TensorFlow.js), and cross-device synchronization via WebSocket. Testing with 17 respondents showed an average pose latency of 1.49 seconds on a cloud free-tier environment; this latency still qualifies as real-time detection although in is noticeable during interaction. Usability evaluation using the System Usability Scale yielded an average score of 64.71, which falls into the marginal category and slightly below the standard threshold of 68, mainly affected by complaints about detection accuracy and latency. In contrast, the MIDE-based evaluation produced high scores across all four dimensions, enjoyment (5.49), intrinsic motivation (5.57), technology acceptance (5.55), and physical engagement and experience quality (5.65) out of 6, albeit with a ceiling effect. The system proved effective in encouraging light physical activity and user engagement, with usability as the main area for improvement.
