Abstract

Reaksi isatin dengan 2,5-dimetoksianilina dengan perbandingan 1:1 telah dikaji guna memperoleh 3-(2,5- dimetoksifenilimino)-1,3-dihidroindol-2-on, tapi yang diperoleh adalah 3,3-bis(4-amino-2,5-dimetoksifenil)-1,3-dihidroindol-2-on sehingga dilakukan pengkajian lagi terhadap reaksi isatin dengan anilina tersubitusi, bertujuan untuk memperoleh imina. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk mengkaji reaksi isatin dengan 4-bromoanilina maupun 3-bromoanilina. Reaksi isatin dengan 4- bromoanilina, diperoleh 3-(4-bromofenilimino)-1,3-dihidroindol- 2-on dengan rendemen 89% (metoda A), 83% (metoda B) dan 94% (metoda C). Reaksi isatin dengan 3-bromoanilina diperoleh 3-(3-bromofenilimino)-1,3-dihidroindol-2-on dengan rendemen 50% (metoda A) dan 20% (metoda B). Endapan hasil reaksi yang didapat berupa padatan kuning, yang selanjutnya diidentifikasi menggunakan LC MS-ESI dan spectrometer NMR. ===================================================================================================== The reaction of isatin with 2,5-dimetoksianiline with a ratio of 1:1 had been studied in order to obtain 3-(2,5- dimethoxyphenylimino)-1,3-dihydroindole-2-one, but obtained was 3,3-bis(4-amino-2,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-1,3-dihydroindole-2- one assessment that was done again to react isatin with subtituted aniline, aiming to obtain imine. In this study, the reaction of isatin with 4-bromoaniline and 3-bromoaniline was done. The reaction of isatin with 4-bromoaniline, obtained 3 (4-bromophenylimino)- 1,3-dihydroindole-2-one with the deposition reaction proceeds by 89% (method A), 83% (method B ) and 94% (method C). The reaction of isatin with 3-bromoaniline, obtained 3-(3- bromophenylimino)-1,3-dihydroindole-2-one with the deposition reaction yield of 50% (method A) and 20% (method B). The precipitate of reaction product was obtained in the form of a yellow solid, which was subsequently identified using LCMS-ESI and NMR spectometry.
