Abstract

Sudah banyak mesin pencampur dan pemanas di industri kimia. Salah satu proses yang menggunakan mesin ini adalah proses Hidrolisis. Hidrolisis adalah reaksi kimia yang memecah molekul air menjadi kation hidrogen dan anion hidroksida melalui suatu proses kimia. Untuk memecahkan molekul dibutuhkan reactor hidrolisis yang berguna merubah bentuk bahan ke bentuk lain. Variable yang mempengaruhi proses hidrolisis antara lain factor pengadukan,katalis,komposisi bahan, suhu dan tekanan. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan reaktor hidrolisis yang mempunyai mekanisme pengadukan dengan poros berputar secara horizontal. Perencanaan mesin reactor hidrolisis dimulai dengan melakukan observasi ke laboratorium kimia. Kemudian merancang desain reactor ,mekanisme proses pengadukan, kapasitas tabung reactor dan melakukan perhitungan elemen mesin mulai dari menghitung gaya dan daya motor, system transmisi,poros, pasak dan bantalan. Hasil perancangan dan perhitungan didapatkan mesin pencampur dengan daya 62,7 Watt. Belt menggunakan V-Belt Type A yang menghubungkan pulley berdiameter 160 mm dan 140 mm. Diameter poros yang dipakai pada mesin reactor ini adalah 2,46 mm. ===================================================================================================== It's been a lot of mixing and heating machine in the chemical industry. One of the processes that use these machines is the process of hydrolysis. Hydrolysis is a chemical reaction that breaks down water molecules into hydrogen cations and hydroxide anions through a chemical process. Molecules needed to solve the hydrolysis reactor is useful to change the shape of the material to another form. Variables that affect the process of hydrolysis among other factors stirring, catalyst, composition, temperature and pressure. It is therefore necessary that the hydrolysis reactor with a stirring mechanism having a rotating shaft horizontally. Planning engine hydrolysis reactor begins with observation to the chemical laboratory. Then design the reactor design, the mechanism of the mixing process, the capacity of the tube reactor and calculating machine elements ranging from counting style and power motors, transmissions, axles, pegs and pads. The results of the design and calculation obtained mixing machine with 62.7 Watt power. Belt use V-Belt Type A that connects the pulley diameter of 160 mm and 140 mm. Shaft diameter reactor used in this machine is 2.46 mm.
