Abstract
Tujuan perancangan sistem simulator pesawat (khususnya
helicopter) berbasis sistem 6 aksis steward platform adalah (1)
Membuat sistem simulator helicopter berbasis steward platform, (2)
Membuat hardware Steward Platform dengan motor servo dapat
dintegrasikan dengan game Microsoft Flight Simulator X dan joystick
flight simulator. Tujuan ini didasarkan pada kondisi dilapangan (
Pelatihan Penerbangan TNI) yang masih menggunakan teknologi 4 dof
yang kurang mewakili kondisi nyata dari sebuah penerbangan
khususnya helicopter yang kurang lebih bisa mewakili kondisi di
lapangan.
Perancangan sebuah sistem simulator berbasis steward platform
dengan motor servo, terdiri dari steward platform, rangkaian joystick,
rangkaian USB To Com, rangkaian servo controller dan Game Microsoft
Flight Simulator X. Rangkaian joystick digunakan sebagai masukan dari
sistem yang membuat game Microsoft Flight Simulator X mengeluarkan
data. Data tersebut kemudian di konversikan dan dikirimkan secara
serial pada rangkaian servo controller untuk menggerakan platform
yang menggunakan penggerak motor servo.
Dari perancangan dan beberapa pengujian dapat disimpulkan
akurasi platform dalam merealisasikan gerakan pada game adalah 80%
dengan catatan data gerakan pesawat tidak melebihi kemampuan
maksimal platform.

The purpose of the system design simulator aircraft (especially
helicopters) 6 axis steward system based platform is (1) Make a
helicopter simulator system based Steward Platform, (2) Make hardwere
Stewart Platform with servo motors be integrated with Microsoft's
Flight Simulator X game and joystick flight simulator. This goal is based
on field conditions (Flight Training TNI) are still using technology that
is less representative of 4 dof real conditions of a particular helicopter
flight more or less representative of conditions in the field.
Designing a system simulator based platform steward with
servo motors, consisting of Stewart Platform, a series of joystick, USB
To Com series, a series of servo controllers and game Microsoft Flight
Simulator X. The series joystick is used as the input of the system that
makes the game Microsoft Flight Simulator X issue data . The data is
then converted and transmitted serially to the circuit to drive the servo
controller platform that uses a servo motor drive.
From design and some inferred accuracy testing platform can
realize the movement in the game is 80% with record aircraft
movements do not exceed the maximum platform capability.
