Abstract

========================================================================================== Indonesia is a maritime country, Exploitation of fish make a problem that called overfishing. Overfishing problems can be overcome by cultivating saltwater fish and maximizing the utilization of empty space and potential marine fields. Aquaculture in shallow waters is widely found in Indonesia by using the type of floating cage around the coast. In open sea of Indonesia there is no type of fish farming applied to marine fish such as tuna and salmon which certainly has a high economic value. No one concept of offshore aquaculture in Indonesia that was apllied, especially research on the strength of the structure. Offshore Aquaculture designed in this Final Project has semi-submersible rigid cages. Operated in Indonesia's southern seas with semi-submersible conditions, an analysis of floating conditions and RAO (Response Amplitude Operator) is performed. In the moored condition with buoy mooring system obtained the highest tension on mooring line 4 with heading 0 deg and safety factor 8.71. The largest stress that occurs in the structure is 215.87 MPa thus mooring line and the structure is safe to operate. Besides that, fatigue life analysis with Deterministic calculation using S-N Curve method is done by reviewing the ratio of cumulative damage (D) due to the load received by the structure. Fatigue life of the structure is 26.33 years.
