Abstract

Sungai Guring berada di Kecamatan Banjarmasin Tengah dan Kecamatan Banjarmasin Timur, Kota Banjarmasin, Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan, dan bermuara di Sungai Martapura. Daerah Aliran Sungai Guring memiliki luas +-4 km2, dengan panjang alur sungai +-5 km. Sungai Guring sudah mengalami pendangkalan dan penyempitan hebat yang semakin memperkecil kapasitas pengaliranya. Besaran badan sungai menjadi hanya sebesar parit atau got bahkan menghilang, karena banyak yang telah berubah menjadi lahan yang di atasnya dibangun pemukiman dan bangunan ruko baik secara berizin aupun tidak berizin (liar). Oleh karena itu, muka air Sungai Guring menjadi tinggi terutama saat musim hujan dan air pasang, sehingga menyebabkan beberapa kawasan pemukiman tergenang.
Salah satu upaya untuk mengatasi masalah genangan di pemukiman tersebut yaitu dengan merencanakan sistem drainase dan restorasi sungai yang mampu menampung limpasan air hujan dan pengaruh pasang-surut air. Untuk itu, dalam tugas akhir ini dilakukan: analisis hidrologi menggunakan program bantu HEC-HMS, analisis hidrolika menggunakan program bantu HEC-RAS, dan analisis pasang surut menggunakan metode British Admiralty. Selanjutnya, dari hasil analisis tersebut, akan dilakukan evaluasi terhadap penampang sungai eksisting. Pada tahap akhir dilakukan perencanaan ulang dimensi penampang sungai dan fasilitas penunjang.
Dari hasil analisa yang telah dilakukan, untuk mengatasi banjir yang ada, direncanakan dimensi saluran tersier berbentuk persegi dengan lebar 1 sampai 3 meter dengan kedalaman hingga 2 meter. Sedangkan saluran sekunder berbentuk persegi dengan lebar 1,5 sampai 5 meter dengan kedalaman hingga 2,5 meter. Sedangkan direncanakan dimensi Sungai Guring yang mencukupi sebesar 46 m di bagian hulu, kemudian semakin ke hilir dimensi saluran bertambah menjadi 50 m dengan kedalaman hingga 3 meter, dengan penambahan tanggul beton pada tepi Sungai Guring.

Guring River is located in Central District of Banjarmasin and in East District of Banjarmasin, Banjarmasin City, South Kalimantan, and is disembogue to Martapura River. Guring River has basin area of +-4 km2, with the river flow length +-5 km. Guring River has experienced massive shallowing and constriction which lesser its flow capacity. The size of the river bank is now only as big as a gutter, or even disappearing, because the land above the riverbank is now changing its function to be mostly as residential and urban areas, legally or illegally. Thus, the water river elevation of Guring River becomes higher, especially when it comes to rainy seasons and the high tide period. This condition makes several residential areas logged.
One of the solutions to overcome the flood problem in the area is by planning the drainage system and river restoration that may be able to maintain the surface run-off and the tidal effect. In order to do that, in this Final Project, there would be hidrology analysis using HEC-HMS, hydraulic analysys using HEC-RAS, and tidal analysis using British Admiralty Method. Then, from the results of those analysis, there would be evaluation for the existing river cross section. In the end, there would be a design of the river cross section dimension and its supporting facilities.
Based on the analysis to resolve the existing flood, gained square-shaped tertiary channel with 1-3 meters width and 2 meter maximum depth. Whereas secondary channel is also designed square-shaped, with 1,5-5 meters width and 2,5 meters maximum depth. For the Guring River dimension, gained wide plan Guring River to the upstream part of 46 m, and the downstream by 50 m with 3 meters maximum depth, with the addition of concrete leeves on the side of Guring riverbank.
