Abstract

Jembatan cable-stayed (beruji kabel) adalah struktur yang mempunyai sederetan kabel lurus dan memikul elemen horizontal kaku (berupa balok, rangka, atau box). Jembatan cable-stayed terdiri dari sistem struktur berupa gelagar menerus yang didukung oleh tumpuan berupa kabel yang dibentangkan miring dan dihubungkan ke menara sebagai penahan utama. Jembatan jenis ini memiliki keunggulan karakteristik dibandingkan dengan tipe jembatan bentang panjang lainnya baik dari segi teknis, ekonomis, dan estetika.
Tugas akhir ini membahas “Desain Jembatan Cable-Stayed Sembayat Baru dengan Single Plane System Menggunakan Metode Balanced Cantilever” yang melintasi sungai Bengawan Solo di Kecamatan Manyar Kabupaten Gresik. Jembatan ini memiliki bentang total sepanjang 340 meter terbagi dalam 2 bentang masing-masing sepanjang 170 meter dengan lebar total jembatan 17 meter. Konfigurasi kabel jembatan pada arah memanjang menggunakan modified fan pattern dan pada arah melintang menggunakan single plane system. Material penyusun struktur lantai kendaraan menggunakan steel orthotropic deck. Sedangkan struktur pylon menggunakan struktur beton bertulang.
Dalam desain struktur jembatan cable-stayed ini digunakan program bantu MIDAS Civil 2011 v2.1 untuk menganalisa perilaku struktur utama secara keseluruhan dan juga untuk menganalisa tahapan metode pelaksanaan sekaligus. Kemudian hasil dari analisa ketika jembatan dalam keadaan layan dibandingkan dengan hasil analisa ketika tahap pelaksanaan.
Hasil dari desain ini didapatkan dimensi strktur lantai kendaraan, dimensi kabel dan angkur dan dimensi pylon. Selain itu, stabilitas jembatan terhadap perilaku dinamis juga perlu dikontrol di mana kontrol tersebut meliputi frekuensi alami struktur, pengaruh vortex shedding dan flutter. Desain dilakukan dengan mengacu SNI 1725 2016, Peraturan PU Nomor 08/SE/M/2015, RSNI 2833 201X, RSNI T 02 2004 dan AISC 360-10.

Cable stayed bridge is a form of bridge strcture that is having a number of straight cable that pulls stiff horizontal element (in form of girder, truss or box shape). Cable stayed bridge consists of continuous girders that are supported by spanned sloping cables, an then connected to the pylon. This kind of bridge is having superior characteristic compared to other kind of long span bridges in term of structural techniques, economics aw well as aesthetics.
This Applied Final Project (Undergraduate Thesis) discuss about “New Sembayat Cable Stayed Bridge Design with Single Plane System using Balanced cantilever Method”that crosses Bengawan Solo river in Manyar District Gresik City. This bridge has total span of 340 meters divided into 2 main spans each of them having 170 meters length with total width of 17 meters. Longitudinal cable configuration of the bridge using modified fan pattern and the tranversal direction using single plane system. The bridge deck is created form steel structural material with othotropic system. And the pylon is created from high strength concrete material.
The main structure of the bridge is analysed using software MIDAS Civil 2011 v2.1. It is analysed both the structural behaviour during service loading as well as during costruction stage.
The result of the design consists of the dimension of the deck structure, dimension of the cable structure and the dimension of the pylon. Besides, the bridge stabilites towards the aerodynamics behaviour are necessary to be controlled. In which the control including natural frequencies of the structure, vortex shedding and flutter effects. The designs are calculated refers to these codes; SNI 1725 2016, Peraturan pPU Nomor 08/SE/M/2015, RSNI 2833 201X, RSNI T 12 2004 and AISC 360-10.
