Abstract
Implementasi pembangkit listrik tenaga mikro hidro standalone memiliki masalah adanya perubahan tegangan dan frekuensi output akibat perubahan putaran generator. Oleh karena itu, ditawarkan solusi penggunaan penggunaan Z-Source Inverter (ZSI) dengan metode simple boost control untuk mengatur tegangan dan frekuensi output. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengaturan tegangan dan frekuensi pada pembangkit listrik tenaga mikro hidro menggunakan rangkaian Z-Source Inverter. Pada penelitian ini Z-Source Inverter mampu menaikkan tegangan dari input 52 V menjadi 60 V AC dengan nilai shoot through duty ratio 17%. Karakteristik gelombang Z-Source Inverter telah sesuai dengan simulasi. Efisiensi Z-Source Inverter mencapai 80.2%. Z-Source Inverter mampu mengatur tegangan keluaran konstan 60 V pada range shoot through duty ratio 15-17% dengan perubahan input 52 sampai 46 V. Pengaturan secara close loop pada simulasi dilakukan dengan menginputkan parameter gain sebesar 0,0007 dan time constant 0,002 pada kontroler PI. Selain itu Z-Source Inverter mampu mengatur frekuensi sesuai dengan frekuensi fundamental yang disetting di inverter meskipun dilakukan perubahan kecepatan pada generator induksi. Tegangan output berupa gelombang AC sinusoidal dengan nilai total harmonic distortion (THD) sebesar 7.43%.

Implementation of standalone micro hydro power plant has some problems like changes in voltage and output frequency due to rotation of induction generator. Therefore, the solution offered is using of Z-Source Inverter (ZSI) with simple boost control method to control the voltage and output frequency. This study aims to regulate the voltage and frequency of micro hydro power plants using the Z-Source Inverter topology. In this study Z-Source Inverter able to raise the input voltage from 52 V to 60 V AC with shoot through duty ratio of 17%. The waveform characteristic of Z-Source Inverter has been correct with the simulation. The efficiency of Z-Source Inverter reaches 80.2%. Z-Source Inverter is able to set a constant output voltage of 60 V in the range of 15-17% shoot through duty ratio with input changes of 52 to 46 V. The close loop arrangement in the simulation is done by inputting a gain parameter of 0.0007 and time constant 0.002 on the controller PI. In addition, Z-Source Inverter is able to adjust the frequency according to the fundamental frequency set in the inverter even though the speed changes on the induction generator. The output voltage is a sinusoidal AC wave with a total value of harmonic distortion (THD) of 7.43%.
