Abstract

Traditional dance is one of Indonesian culture that needs to be preserved. But the government's efforts to preserve Indonesian traditional dance are insufficient and the real evidence can be seen in Indonesia's young generation. It needs a way of attracting the younger generation of Indonesia to learn and know the movements. The Traditional Dance Composition Game will contain the typical movement of a traditional Indonesian dance where the player can arrange the movements into a dance movement resembling the original dance. The movement is recorded using Motion Capture technology and can be visualized using 3D Modeling. This game is expected to help the young generation of Indonesia to recognize and preserve the culture of Indonesian dance.
