Abstract

Penentuan kombinasi jumlah dan kapasitas tanker pada transportasi laut untuk pendistribusian bahan bahar minyak (BBM) merupakan permasalahan yang kompleks dikarenakan adanya variabilitas dan interdependensi. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang harus dipertimbangkan seperti jumlah dan lokasi terminal transit dan depo tujuan, jumlah dan kapasitas kompartemen tanker, kapasitas tangki timbun, dan daily of take. Sistem distribusi BBM wilayah Indonesia Timur dimodelkan dengan simulasi diskrit dengan indikator ukuran performansi service level, biaya sewa tanker, dan biaya operasional tanker. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model simulasi yang dirancang dapat digunakan untuk mendapatkan kombinasi jumlah dan kapasitas tanker. Model simulasi juga dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis perubahan daily of take, kapasitas tangki timbun, perubahan kluster depo, dan perubahan aturan pengiriman terhadap ukuran performansi. =======================================================================================================
The determination of the combination of number and capacity of tanker in marine transportation for fuel distribution is a complex problem, because there are variability and interdependency. There are several factors to be considered in the determination, those are number of location of transit terminal along with its destination depot, the number and capacity of tanker compartment, capacity of storage tank, and daily of take. Discrete-event simulation model is used to represent the distribution system of fuel for Eastern Indonesia Region to obtain the combination of number and capacity of tanker. In this research service level, charter cost, and operational cost is measured to reflect system’s performance indicator. This result shows that the constructed model could determine the combination of number and capacity of tanker. The constructed model also could be used to analyze the changes of daily of take, destination’s storage tank capacity, cluster, and changes of delivery rule towards performance measure.
