Abstract

Suplai batubara terhadap PT. Paiton Energy sebagai pengelola pembangkit unit 3, 7 dan 8 di komplek Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap Paiton harusnya tidak terjadi keterlambatan. Dikarenakan akan mengakibatkan terganggunya pasokan listrik khususnya di Pulau Jawa dan Pulau Bali. Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan angkutan pengiriman batubara dari Pulau Kalimantan Tengah dan Kalimantan Timur dengan menggunakan metode optimisasi yang bertujuan untuk mencari ukuran utama kapal yang paling optimum dan dengan unit cost terendah serta penentuan pola operasi menggunakan cyclic operation yang akan meminimalkan jumlah penggunaan kapal tunda serta memperbanyak jumlah tongkang. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa unit cost untuk rute Adaro – Paiton sebesar Rp 151.662 dengan penggunaan enam tongkang serta empat kapal tunda dan rute pengiriman dari Kideco – Paiton sebesar Rp 181.580 dengan penggunaan tujuh tongkang serta lima kapal tunda. ============= The supply of coal to PT. Paiton Energy as an operator of power plant unit 3, 7 and 8 in the Paiton Steam Power Plant cannot be late, otherwise this will result a disruption in electricity supply in particular for the island of Java and island of Bali. This Final Project aims to plan for freight shipping coal from Central Kalimantan and East Kalimantan using optimization method which aims to find the size of the main ship with most optimum and lowest unit cost as well as the determination of the operating pattern of using cyclic operation that will minimize the amount use of tug boat dan increase the number of barge. The result of this research show the unit cost for route Adaro – Paiton is 151.662 rupiahs with use of six barges and four tug boats and shipping route from Kideco – Paiton is 181.580 rupiahs with use of seven barges and five tug boats.
