Abstract

This thesis research aims to characterize microtremor data at Kedung Banteng river system, Pacitan. Microtremor data is used to see the response of dominant frequency values (f0) based on HVSR (Horizontal to Vertical Spectral Ratio) curves analysis, particle motion, and Time Frequency Analysis (TFA) either in areas passed by river or non-river area. Based on the data interpretation, it can be used to identify subsurface streams. Based on dominant frequency values (f0) analysis, there are two character zones of the low value I zone with a range of values from 3.05 to 5.45 Hz and a high value II zone with a range of values ranging from 10.4 to 13.25 Hz, based on particle motion analysis in region I which is the area around the river shows the character of Orientation orientation pattern of West-Southeast Ocean (NW-SE) that is perpendicular to the direction of river flow that has orientation of East-West direction (EW), and based on Time Frequency Analysis (TFA) there is continuity of amplitude in the rivered region with an amplitude value of 2,000 -45,000 dB with a frequency range of 4-5 Hz on component Z (Vertical).
