Abstract

UiO-66 telah berhasil disintesis dalam pelarut N-N’-dimetilformamida (DMF) dengan metode solvotermal pada temperatur 120 C selama 24 jam. Filtrat hasil sintesis telah berhasil digunakan untuk sintesis UiO-66 berikutnya hingga pengulangan lima kali. Pola difraktogram padatan hasil sintesis menunjukkan puncak karakteristik pada 2 sebesar 7,43 dan 8,49o yang merupakan puncak karakteristik dari UiO-66 standar. Pita serapan dari spektra FTIR semua padatan hasil sintesis teramati pada bilangan gelombang yang sama dengan pita serapan UiO-66 yang telah dilaporkan. Hasil analisis TGA menunjukkan bahwa UiO-66 dan UiO-66(5) (UiO-66 hasil sintesis dengan filtrat kelima), berturut-turut stabil pada temperatur mencapai 542 C dan 570 C. Aplikasi UiO-66 sebagai katalis pada reaksi esterifikasi asam oleat menghasilkan konversi sebesar 78% pada kondisi optimum rasio mol asam oleat : metanol sebesar 1:30 dan waktu reaksi 90 menit. Semua katalis UiO-66 hasil sintesis menunjukkan nilai % konversi pada rentang 64-73%. ============== UiO-66 has been successfully synthesized using N-N'-dimethylformamide (DMF) solvent by solvotermal method at 120 C for 24 hours. The synthesized filtrate has been successfully used for subsequent UiO-66 synthesis up to five replications. The synthesis diffractogram pattern shows the characteristic peak at 2 of 7.43 and 8.49o which is the characteristic peak of the standard UiO-66. The absorption band of the FTIR spectra of all synthesized solids is observed at the same wave number as the reported UiO-66 absorption band. The TGA analysis showed that UiO-66 and UiO-66 (5) (UiO-66 synthesized by filtrate from the fifth synthesis) were stable at 542 C and 570 C, respectively. The UiO-66 application of synthesis as a catalyst in the esterification reaction of oleic acid resulted in a conversion of 78% at the optimum condition of mole ratio of oleic acid: metanol at 1:30, reaction time 90 minutes. All UiO-66 synthesized catalysts with a previously synthesized filtrate show a %conversion value in the 64-73% range.
