Abstract
Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya menggunakan E-learning Share ITS yang digunakan untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan penelitian-penelitian terkait evaluasi Share ITS sebelumnya, Share ITS masih memerlukan perbaikan fitur dan user interface, penyederhanaan navigasi, dan perbaikan layanan heldesk. Namun, rekomendasi tersebut tidak dilakukan. Selain itu, belum terdapat penelitian yang menyinggung mengenai bagaimana agar kelas online yang dibuat dapat menjadi good online course.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendefinisikan konsep good online course berdasarkan jurnal Shulamit Kotzer dan Yossi Elran, instrument evaluasi materi PDITT, dan wawancara dengan Kepala Kantor Penjaminan Mutu ITS. Data mentah dari masing-masing sumber tersebut dianalisis dan dilakukan reduksi data hingga menjadi informasi berupa poin-poin yang mudah dipahami. Kemudian dilakukan verifikasi dengan 2 metode yakni benchmarking pada 15 online course untuk mengetahui seberapa banyak poin-poin good online course ditemui. Sehingga poin-poin yang paling banyak ditemui akan menjadi urutan rekomendasi pertama ketika diterapkan. Lalu dilakukan verifikasi poin-poin tersebut kepada 3 verifikator. Selanjutnya, poin-poin tersebut diimplementasikan pada mata kuliah Dasar Desain Arsitektur 1 di ITS berdasarkan rencana pembelajaran dan informasi yang digali. Langkah terakhir yang dilakukan adalah melakukan validasi kepada dosen koordinator mata kuliah.
Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah poin-poin good online course sebanyak 42 poin yang dibagi dalam 3 aspek model desain Alchemy yakni konten, pedagogi, serta teknologi dan dikelompokkan lagi berdasarkan tahap penjaminan mutu proses pembelajaran yang nantinya diharapkan dapat menjadi panduan dalam mendesain kelas online, rancangan kerangka konten mata kuliah Dasar Desain Arsitektur 1 yang telah dibuat berdasarkan rencana pembelajaran yang memenuhi 36 poin good online course dengan rincian 11 poin dari aspek konten, 17 poin dari aspek pedagogi, dan 7 poin dari aspek teknologi, dan hasil desain kerangka konten pada Share ITS.

Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya uses E-learning Share ITS which is used to support the learning process. Based on previous evaluation studies of Share ITS, Share ITS still needs improvements in features and user interfaces, navigation simplification, and service improvements. However, the recommendation was not made. Furthermore, there has been no research touched on how to create online classes to be a good online course.
This study aims to define the concept of good online course based on the journal Shulamit Kotzer and Yossi Elran, instrument of PDITT material evaluation, and interview with Head of Quality Assurance Office of ITS. Raw data from each source are analyzed and data reduction is done to be clear information in the form of points that are easy to understand. Then verified in two methods which are benchmarking on 15 online course to find out how many points good online course encountered. So the most common points will be the first priority of recommendations when applied. Then verified the points to 3 verifiers. Furthermore, the points are implemented in the Basic Architectural Design 1 course in ITS based on the lesson plans and the supporting information. The last step is to validate to the coordinator lecturer of the course.
The results of this study are the points of good online course which consist of 42 points divided into 3 aspects of Alchemy design model that is content, pedagogy, and technology and grouped again based on the quality assurance stage of the learning process which is expected to be a guide in designing online course, the framework of content of the Basic Architectural Design 1 course which has been made based on the learning plan that meets 36 points of good online course with 11 points from the content aspect, 17 points from the pedagogy aspect and 7 points from the technology aspect, and the result of online course design in Share ITS.
