Abstract

Perkembangan bangunan gedung tinggi (High rise building) di Indonesia saat ini sangat pesat sehingga menyebabkan kebutuhan akan desain perencanaan konstruksi bangunan yang juga semakin tinggi , juga Indonesia adalah negara yang terletak diantara dua lempengan gempa tektonik yang rawan untuk terjadinya gempa. Struktur yang tahan gempa dapat meminimalisir terjadinya kerusakan yang timbul akibat gempa. Mengingat tingginya resiko dan intensitas gempa di Indonesia, maka perencanaan harus sesuai dengan perhitungan letak bangunan yang dibangun. Salah satu dampak dari perkembangan bangunan tinggi ini adalah gaya aksial yang harus dipikul oleh kolom-kolom di lantai dasar semakin besar. Secara teoritis, kemampuan berdeformasi dari kolom akan semakin berkurang seiring dengan bertambahnya gaya aksial. Kemampuan deformasi elemen struktural sendiri sangat diperlukan untuk mencapai struktur tahan gempa. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, persyaratan terbaru ACI 318M-14, yang akan dijadikan acuan dalam SNI 2847 seri berikutnya, mengenai rumusan kebutuhan tulangan pengekang (confinement) pada kolom menjadi lebih rapat. Persyaratan akan tulangan pengekang dalam ACI 318M-14 memasukkan pengaruh besarnya gaya aksial dan pendetailan kait seismik (seismic hook) dari tulangan sengkang dan tulangan silang (cross ties) terhadap tulangan longitudinal. Tugas akhir ini membahas implikasi dari persyaratan ACI 318M-14 terhadap kebutuhan tulangan pengekang berdasarkan studi parametrik pada beberapa gedung fiksional. Adapun, parameter yang dibahas ialah bentuk denah, beberapa dimensi kolom, kuat tekan beton, dan kuat leleh baja tulangan sengkang.

The development of high rise buildings in Indonesia is currently very rapid, causing high demand for the design of building construction planning. Besides, Indonesia is a country located between two tectonic earthquake plates that are prone to earthquakes. In addition, earthquake resistant structures can minimize the occurrence of damage caused by the earthquake. Since the high risk and intensity of the earthquake in Indonesia, then the planning must be in accordance with the calculation of the constructed buildings location. One impact of this high-rise building is the greater axial force that should be borne by the columns on the ground floor. Theoretically, the deformed ability of the column will decrease as the axial force increases. The ability of the deformation of the structural element itself is necessary to achieve the earthquake resistant structure. Hence, to solve this problem, the latest requirements of ACI 318M-14, which will be used as reference in the next SNI 2847 series, concerning the formulation of reinforcement needs (confinement) in the column becomes more tightly. Requirements for reinforcing bars in ACI 318M-14 include the influence of the magnitude of the axial force and the seismic hook detailing of cross links and cross ties against the longitudinal reinforcement. This final project discusses the implications of the ACI 318M-14 requirement on reinforcement requirements based on parametric studies on some fictional buildings. Lastly, the parameters discussed are the floor plan, the number of building floors, the compressive strength of the concrete, and the steep strength of the reinforcing steel reinforcement.
