Abstract
Meningkatnya kebutuhan akan kenyamanan dan kemudahan layanan yang didukung oleh teknologi modern, menyebabkan diperlukannya pengembangan pelayanan bangunan untuk memberikan kepuasan pada pengguna bangunan. Kota Madiun terletak di jalan provinsi dan menjadi jalur utama ke arah kota-kota besar seperti Ponorogo, Surakarta, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, dan lain-lain. Kota Madiun digunakan pula sebagai pusat lokomotif industri kereta api, pusat koleksi dan distribusi hasil pertanian, perkebunan, dan barang dagang lainnya dari daerah-daerah di sekitarnya yang masih satu karesidenan.
Terminal Purboyo adalah satu-satunya terminal bus di Kota Madiun, tepatnya berada di Kecamatan Patihan Kelurahan Manguharjo. Terminal tersebut merupakan terminal Tipe B, berada di utara Kota Madiun yang biasa juga disebut sebagai daerah pintu masuk Kota Madiun di bagian utara. Kebijakan pembenahan infrastruktur sudah disampaikan Presiden Indonesia dalam Seminar di Pakarti Centre pada Hari Rabu (8/2/2017), kebijakan tersebut dijadikan prioritas pemerintah dalam mencanangkan program smart city di mana salah satu pendukungnya adalah dengan penerapan smart building.
Oleh karena itu, diperlukan solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada di terminal Purbaya Madiun yaitu dengan cara menerapkan konsep smart bus station. Diharapkan dengan adanya inovasi tersebut, pembenahan alur terminal Purbaya dapat memaksimalkan pelayanan dan menciptakan image baru untuk Madiun yang lebih baik.

The increasing need for convenience and convenience of services supported by modern technology, led to the need for the development of building services to provide satisfaction to building users. Madiun City is located on the provincial road and becomes the main route to major cities such as Ponorogo, Surakarta, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, and others. Madiun city is also used as a locomotive center for railway industry, collection and distribution center of agricultural products, plantations, and other merchandise from surrounding areas which are still one residency.
Purboyo terminal is the only bus station in Madiun City, precisely located in District Patihan Kelurahan Manguharjo. The terminal is a Type B terminal, located north of Madiun City commonly referred to as the entrance area of Madiun City in the north. Infrastructure reform policy has been submitted by the President of Indonesia in a Seminar at Pakarti Center on Wednesday (8/2/2017), the policy was made the government's priority in launching smart city program in which one of its supporters is by implementing smart building.
Therefore, a solution is needed to overcome the existing problems in Purbaya Madiun terminal by applying the concept of smart bus station. It is hoped that with this innovation, revamping Purbaya's terminal line can maximize service and create new image for Madiun better.
