Abstract

The method of analysis used in this research is factor analysis. The assumptions that must be met in the factor analysis are the adequacy of data examined by using Kaiser Meyer Olkin (KMO) examination and the freedom between variables tested by Barlett Sphericity test. Factor analysis results form three factors namely the potential of public facilities, plantation and industrial potential, agricultural and tourism potentials. Sub-districts that has excellent public facilities potential, plantation and industrial potential, and also agricultural and tourism potentials are Pulung Sub-districts,while subdistricts with low public facilities potential, plantation and industrial potential, and agricultural and tourism potential are Sooko, Pudak and Ngebel Sub-districts.
