Abstract
State Non Isothermal Flow Model for Natural Gas Transmission in Pipes.

Natural gas is a fossil fuel form of gas which consists mostly of methane which can be dangerous because of its highly flammable and explosive nature. One way to overcome these problems is to get consumers first before distributing natural gas, ie with a piping network system. If the distribution of natural gas is carried out with a pipeline transmission system, it is necessary to consider the behavior of natural gas in the pipeline during the transportation process from the production site to consumers so that natural gas shipments can be carried out correctly and safely. This Final Project examines the model of gas flow in a pipeline to determine the behavior of gases in a distribution network system, to develop numerical solutions that can integrate mathematical models into the flow of natural gas into pipes under non-isothermal stedi conditions. Used mass conservation equations, momentum conservation equations, and real gas state equations to obtain a temperature and pressure model. The model obtained is then solved numerically using the Runge-Kutta method. Then the results were compared with experimental data in the journal Model of Mathematical Modeling Applied-Steady State Non-Isothermal Flow Model for Natural Gas Transmission on Pipes.
