Abstract
Proses pengemasan pouch ke dalam box pada industri packaging kebanyakan dilakukan menggunakan mesin – mesin otomatis. Alasannya adalah untuk mengoptimalkan jumlah hasil produksi. Robotic Pouch Case Packer adalah suatu mesin yang diproduksi oleh PT.IRA untuk melakukan proses tersebut. Mesin ini terdiri dari beberapa komponen salah satunya adalah box conveyor. Komponen ini digunakan untuk box transfer pada proses pengemasan. Namun dengan penerapan sistem manual pada box conveyor maka menyebabkan mesin tidak bekerja secara efektif dan juga tidak adanya interface yang menampilkan proses dari box conveyor. Berdasarkan kondisi ini, dibuat suatu sistem pengontrolan otomatis pada box conveyor untuk proses pengiriman box menggunakan PLC omron NJ501-4310 sebagai kontroler utama. Terdapat juga sensor photoelectric E3Z-R86 sebagai pengirim sinyal ke PLC, dan juga cylinder pneumatic, motor induksi sebagai aktuator. Selain itu, terdapat Human Machine Interface (HMI) yang berfungsi untuk memonitoring dan mengontrol aktuator pada box conveyor. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terciptanya sebuah sistem box conveyor kontrol otomatis pada Robotic Pouch Case Packer, dengan setting delay sensor 500 – 3000 ms dan pneumatik 100- 500 ms serta terbentuknya interface untuk monitoring proses kerja dari box conveyor sehingga memudahkan dalam box transfer saat pengemasan.

The packaging process of packing pouch into the box in the packaging industry mostly done using automatic machines. The reason is to optimize the amount of production. Robotic Pouch Case Packer is a machine produced by PT.IRA to perform that kind of process. This machine consists of several components, one of which is box conveyor. This component is used for transfer box in packaging process. However some of the systems used are still manuals that cause the machine to not work effectively and also there is no interface that displays the process from the box conveyor. Based on this condition, an automatic control system is made on box conveyor for box delivery process using PLC Omron NJ501-4310 as main controller. There are also photoelectric E3Z-R86 sensors as signal transmitters to PLCs, as well as pneuamtic cylinders, induction motors as actuators. In addition, there is Human Machine Interface (HMI) that serves to monitor and control the actuator on the conveyor box. The result of this research is the creation of an automatic control box conveyor system on Robotic Pouch Case Packer, with 500 - 3000ms sensor settings and 100 - 500ms pneumatic, as well as the formation of interfaces for monitoring the work process of the box conveyor so as to facilitate the box transfer when packaging.
