Abstract
Kekuatan isolasi pada motor induksi dapat berkurang drastis lebih tepatnya karena pengaruh lingkungan operasi yang sangat ekstrem, seperti dioperasikan dengan adanya kelembaban dan kontaminasi zat asing yang tinggi. Dengan berkurangnya kekuatan isolasi pada motor induksi, maka proses penuaan yang menyebabkan umur isolasi akan semakin tua dan memperpendek umur pakai motor induksi tersebut. Oleh karena itu, percepatan penuaan isolasi motor induksi
harus bisa dideteksi lebih awal dan tepat.
Pada penelitian ini, percepatan penuaan isolasi motor induksi dilakukan di dalam chamber dengan pengaruh lingkungan operasi ekstrem yang diberi kelembaban tinggi dan pengaruh kontaminan zat asing berupa kadar garam.
Metode yang digunakan untuk mendeteksi percepatan penuaan isolasi adalah metode Error Area Ratio (EAR) dan Zero Crossing Gelombang Impulse yang digunakan untuk menganalisis gelombang osilasi atau tes surja dari belitan motor induksi. Selanjutnya dengan membandingkan kedua variabel output keluaran dari EAR dan Zero Crossing Gelombang Impulse didapatkan grafik kecenderungan kerusakan. Diharapkan hasil dari penelitian ini dapat menunjukkan sistem deteksi dini untuk percepatan penuaan isolasi

Insulation strengths of induction motors can be drastically reduced due to
the extreme operating environment effects, such as those operated in the presence
of high humidity and contamination of foreign substances. With the reduced
power of insulation resistance on the induction motor, the aging process that
causes the aging of the insulation will get older and shorten the life of the
induction motor. Therefore, the acceleration of induction motor aging aging must
be detected early and precisely.
In this research, the acceleration of aging of induction motor isolation
was done in chamber with the effect of extreme operating environment which was
given high humidity and the influence of foreign substance contaminant in the
form of salt content.
The methods used to detect the acceleration of aging isolation are the
Error Area Ratio (EAR) method and the Zero Crossing Impulse Wave used to
analyze the oscillation wave or surge test of the induction motor winding.
Furthermore, by comparing the two output output variables of EAR and Zero
Crossing Impulse Wave obtained graph of the trend of damage. It is expected that
the results of this study can show an early detection system for accelerated aging
isolation.
