Abstract
Kebutuhan transportasi semakin meningkat seiring perkembangan ekonomi di negara berkembang terutama Indonesia. Sudah bukan rahasia lagi bahwa sepeda motor adalah transportasi yang paling diminati oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Sesuai data dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) nampak bahwa peningkatan jumlah pengguna sepeda motor sangat konsisten bahkan di tahun 2002-2012 peningkatan rata-rata mencapai 450% dan di tahun 2015 jumlah kendaraan bermotor sudah mencapai lebih dari 150 juta unit.
Dengan adanya minat kendaraan roda dua yang sangat banyak, program eco green-pun kini menjadi semakin gencar terutama di Indonesia. Pemerintah yang mendukung adanya kendaraan electrik khususnya sepeda motor di Indonesia mulai berkembang, dengan beberapa produk dari luar negeri yang masuk ke Indonesia seperti Zero S dan Terra motors A4000i. Produk dalam negeri-pun juga ikut bersaing dengan keluarnya Gesits yang diproduksi Garansindo di tahun 2017 yang mencapai 20 ribu pesanan.
Kebutuhan kendaraan yang ramah lingkungan untuk menunjang kebutuhan style dan transportasi harian terutama di kota kota besar yang sangat memperhatikan penampilan. Memiliki kendaraan yang match dengan penampilan sehari-hari dapat meningkatkan percaya diri pada seseorang terutama pekerja kantoran dengan jadwal yang tetap melakukan perjalanan dari rumah ke tempat kerja secara rutin. Selain sebagai penunjang penampilan, kebutuhan akan fitur yang terdapat didalam kendaraan juga mempengaruhi pilihan seseorang dalam memilih kendaraan.
Proses desain dimulai dari pengumpulan data pustaka dan observasi lapangan dengan menggunakan metode yang sudah direncanakan sebelumnya. Metode tersebut adalah story telling, deep interview, card sorting, dan affinity diagram. Kemudian mengolah hasil observasi yang ada dan memuat konsep sederhana untuk menjawab konsep desain terkait. Konsep dari Sepeda Motor Electric yang diangkat diharap mampu menjawab kebutuhan yang berdasar pada psikografi calon pengguna dengan mempertimbangkan faktor material, proses produksi dan ergonomic.

In developing country, transportation demands are increasing along with economic development, especially in Indonesia. It is no secret that motocycles are the most popular transportation for the people of Indonesia. According to data from the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Indonesia, it appears that the increasing number of motorcycle users is consistent even in 2002-2012, the motorcycle’s user average increase to 450% and in 2015 the number of motor vehicles has reached more than 150 million units.
With the growth of interest for two-wheeled vehicles in Indonesia, eco-green program is now becoming more intense. Indonesian government supports the existence of electric vehicles, especially because the market of electric motorcycles began to grow with some products from aboard such as Zero S and Terra Motors A4000i. Domectic products also began to compete with the release of Gesits produced by Garasindo in 2017 which reached 20 thousand for pre-orders.
Environmental friendly vehicles that support the needs of styles and daily transportation in big cities, more concerned about appearance that can boost confidence of driver, especially for office workers with a schedule that keeps them traveling from home to work on regular basis. In addition, the need for the features contained in vehicles also affects the choice of user in choosing a vehicle.
The design process begins with the collection of literature study and field observation using pre-planned methods such as story telling, depth interview, card sorting and affinity diagram. After that, processing the result of existing observation data and make simple concept to answer related design concept. The concept of Electric Motorcycles is expected to answer the basic needs of the psychography of potential users by considering the material used, production processes and product ergonomic.
