Abstract

output sepanjang value stream.
Response Matrix (20.21%). Dari process activity mapping dapat diketahui bahwa
proporsi waktu aktivitas tranportation sebesar 26.84 %, aktivitas ini termasuk
aktivitas necessary non added value. Setelah perbaikan, dilakukan proporsi waktu
aktivitas tranportation menjadi 11.58 %. Untuk nilai Value Added Ratio (VAR)
sebelum perbaikan sebesar 49.13% setelah penerapan perbaikan nilai VAR menjadi
52.87%.
============================================================
In the industrial world a lot of competition occur to meet the needs of
consumers. The competition includes the products, production processes and the
performance of the industry. The product is the result of a production in defects of
product. For the production process can be seen from the equipment used, waste
produced, and the waiting time between processes. Industry performance can be seen
from hours worked, labor discipline, and the expertise of workers.
The problems in this research are to analyze and minimize waste in
production processes U-ditch using Lean Manufacturing approach. Waste is defined
as any work activities that do not provide value added in the process of transforming
inputs into outputs throughout the value stream.
Based on this research, they were found that the most frequent types of waste
occurs is waiting (21.30%), defective parts (18.34%), and movement (17.75%).
Mapping tools used by the results of the questionnaire scores conversion into
VALSAT matrix is Process Activity Mapping (42.00%) and Supply Chain Response
Matrix (20.21%). From process mapping activity can be seen that the proportion of
time of 26.84 % transportation activity, this activity includes necessary non-added
value activities. After the repair, do the proportion of time transportation activity
becomes 11.58 %. For Value Added Ratio (VAR) before an improvement of 49.13%
after the application of the VAR value improvement to 52.87%.
