Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana
keterkaitan Teori Perilaku Terencana terhadap minat berinvestasi reksa dana,
khususnya di daerah Yogyakarta. Variabel penelitian ini adalah sikap, norma
subyektif, dan kontrol perilaku yang mewakili Teori Perilaku Terencana. Penelitian
ini menggunakan data primer yaitu kuisioner dengan jumlah 193 responden dan 105
data yang dapat diolah dengan profil responden yang memiliki investasi di pasar
modal. Teknik Pengolahan yang dipakai adalah analisa regresi linear berganda
dengan uji asumsi klasik sebagai syarat regresi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan
bahwa minat seseorang untuk berinvestasi di reksa dana dipengaruhi secara
signifikan oleh sikap dan kontrol perilaku. Di sisi lain, variabel norma subyektif
tidak memberi pengaruh signifikan terhadap minat berinvestasi di reksa dana.
Dalam menumbuhkan minat masyarakat berinvestasi, pemerintah maupun
perbankan dapat mengedukasi masyarakat terhadap produk dan memperkecil risiko
yang mungkin terjadi di investasi reksa dana.

The purpose of this research is to unravel the significance of Theory of
Planned Behavior towards intention to invest in mutual fund, specifically in Region
of Yogyakarta. The variables that represent Theory of Planned Behavior are
attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavior control. This research is using
primary data by utilizing questionnaire and collected from 193 respondents. After
eliminating data that does not meet the requirements, 105 samples were then further
analyzed. The technique used to analyze the collected data is by using multiple
linear regression and classic assumption test as the requirements of doing
regression analysis. The result of this research is investor’s tendency to invest in
mutual fund significantly caused by their attitude and perceived behavior control.
On the other hand, variables such as subjective norm failed to show significant
impact to investor’s decision. In order to increase people’s awareness of investing.
The government or bank can give education about the products, risk, or any other
knowledge related to investing.
