Abstract
Stroke dapat terjadi karena gangguan pada saluran darah dari jantung menuju otak. Stroke dapat berakibat fatal dan mengakibatkan kematian apabila tidak segera mendapatkan pertolongan pertama. Seiring dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, informasi tentang pertolongan pertama pada pasien stroke semakin mudah sehingga jumlah kematian/fatality akibat stroke dapat dikurangi. Stroke dapat diobati dengan menggunakan rehabilitasi. Rehabilitasi dapat dilakukan di rumah sakit dengan menggunakan alat bantu khusus seperti sepeda statis, treadmill, terapi outdoor dan lain-lain.
Langkah langkah dalam melakukan pengembangan terhadap sepeda pasca stroke adalah dengan melakukan studi literatur untuk mengetahui dasar dasar dalam melakukan pegembangan sepeda, lalu melakukan kajian terhadap produk eksisting, dimana produk eksisting yang di kaji adalah sepeda milik Agus (2017). Lalu melakukan perumusan masalah berdasarkan hasil kajian dan feedback berupa keluhan dan saran yang didapat dari penelitan Teditya (2017) dan juga progress yang telah dilakukan oleh Rosadila (2018) dan Anisa (2018). Setelah itu, dibuatlah desain konsep sepeda pasca stroke yang baru sesuai dengan List of Requirement yang sudah dibuat.
Setelah melakukan perancangan maka selanjutnya dilakukan pembuatan, perakitan, dan pengujian sepeda pasca stroke. Pada proses pembuatan dimulai dari pembuatan rangka utama, sandaran, lalu penggerak roda belakang. Material yang digunakan untuk pembuatan rangka dan sandaran adalah Allumunium 6061. Sedangkan untuk penggerak belakang terbuat dari beberapa komponen yaitu poros, hub, brake, dan roda. Poros sendiri terbuat dari material AISI 1040. Setelah dibuat semua bagian dirakit lalu dipasang bagian bagian lain sepeda seperti stang, pedal, saddle, sandaran, rem, dsb. Setelah jadi, sepeda diujifungsi yaitu dinaiki pengayuh dengan berat yang bervariasi, lalu diuji kayuh pada jalan lurus dan berbelok. Dari hasil uji fungsi sepeda pasca stroke, dapat dinyatakan bahwa sepeda pasca stroke nyaman digunakan dan dapat dikayuh dengan ringan sehingga aman digunakan untuk pasien pasca stroke. Dari penelitian ini diharapkan sepeda roda tiga pasca stroke ini dapat digunakan untuk membantu proses rehabilitasi pasien pasca stroke.

Stroke may occur when the supply of blood from heart toward brain is restricted or stopped, so that the brain cells begin to die. Further, stroke may cause fatal health issues, and if the first aid cure is postponed, then stroke may lead to permanent disabilities or even death. However, along with the development of science and technology, the information about the first aid treatment toward stroke patients is easier to be accessed. Therefore, the number of patients died caused by stroke can be reduced. Actually, stroke can be cured through rehabilitation which commonly performed using special devices such as static bicycle, treadmill, and many others.
In this research, several steps are performed to develop the post-stroke rehabilitation bicycle. First, a literature study is conducted to understand the theories used as the basis to develop this post-stroke rehabilitation bicycle. Then, an assessment toward the existing product made by Agus in 2017 is performed to identify the problems occurred in the previous bicycle. After that, the problem is formulated based on the feedback obtained from the research which was previously performed by Teditya in 2017 and the research progress performed by Rosadila and Anisa in 2018. Then, the concept design of the post-stroke rehabilitation bicycle is made based on the list of requirements which previously has been identified.
After that, the post-stroke rehabilitation bicycle is made in sequence, start from the main frame, back rest, and the rear wheel drive. For the main frame and the back rest, they are made from Alumunium 6061. While the rear wheel drive itself is consist from several components like shaft, hub, brake, and wheel, in which the shaft is made using AISI 1040 material. After all of the components are made, they will be assembled and the other features such as grip bar, pedal, saddle, back rest, and brake will be attached.
Finally, the post-stroke rehabilitation bicycle will be tested by using various weight of passenger, both in the straight road and in turning directions. Based on the test result, it can be concluded that the post-stroke rehabilitation bicycle is comfortable and can be pedalled lightly, so that this post-stroke rehabilitation bicycle can be safely used for the post-stroke patients. From this research, it is expected that this post-stroke rehabilitation bicycle can be used to fasten the rehabilitation process of the post-stroke patients.
