Abstract
Pompa cooling tower pada pabrik 1 utility unit PT Petrokimia Gresik dalam proses resirkulasinya di cooling tower menuju ke kondensor menggunakan fluida air. Industri ini meresirkulasi cooling water sebagai salah satu media pendinginan kondensor, karena pompa ini mampu mendistribusikan fluida dengan kapasitas yang besar.
Pada tugas akhir ini didapatkan perhitungan ulang instalasi dan pemilihan pompa yang sesuai untuk instalasi pompa cooling tower. Perhitungan head, kapasitas, daya pompa dan efisiensi dilakukan secara analitis.
Berdasarkan analisis dan perhitungan ulang, maka didapatkan kapasitas untuk pompa cooling tower dengan kapasitas maksimal 15274,08 m3/jam dengan head effektif instalasi (Heff) sebesar 66,91 m serta didapatkan daya pompa sebesar 1182,39 kW. Sehingga dari hasil perhitungan-perhitungan tersebut dapat dipilih pompa axially split single stage split case model LNN merk Dresser Worthington Pump

Cooling tower pump at the plant 1 utility unit PT Petrokimia Gresik in its recirculation process in the cooling tower to the condenser using water fluid. This industry recirculates cooling water as one of the condenser cooling media, because this pump is able to distribute fluid with a large capacity.
In this final assignment, it is obtained a recalculation of the installation and selection of suitable pumps for cooling tower pump installations. Head calculations, capacity, pump power and efficiency are carried out analytically.
Based on the analysis and recalculation, the capacity for cooling tower pumps with a maximum capacity of 15274.08 m^3⁄jam is obtained with an effective head installation (Heff) of 66.91 m and the pump power is 1182,39 kW. So from the results of these calculations can be selected a single stage axially split case pump model LNN Worthington Pump Dresser brand
