Abstract
Air merupakan sumber bagi kehidupan yang diperlukan manusia maupun makhluk hidup lain, akan tetapi tak jarang kita mengalami kesulitan dalam mendapatkan air bersih. Salah satu cara untuk mendapatkan air bersih yaitu dengan teknik sedimentasi. Teknik sedimentasi adalah suatu cara untuk memisahkan campuran padatan dan cairan.. Dengan teknik sedimentasi air dapat terpisah dari partikel-partikel yang dapat menyebabkan air tersebut keruh. Oleh karena itu dilakukan rancang bangun alat penjernih air otomatis dengan mengontrol ketinggian air dan tingkat kekeruhan air pada tangki pengendapan menggunakan float switch level sensor dan analog turbidity sensor yang dikontrol oleh Atmega 16. Ketika ketinggian air 0 mm sampai dengan 600 mm, bukaan pompa sebesar 0% atau tutup penuh. Bukaan pompa akan membuka sebesar 100% atau buka penuh pada kondisi sensor turbidity mendeteksi tingkat kekeruhan air pada saat level air telah mecapai 700 mm, dan apabila sensor turbidity telah mencapai nilai dibawah 5. Sehingga air yang terdistribusi dipastikan layak untuk digunakan. ================================================================================================
Water is a source for life that is needed by humans and other living things, but we often have difficulty in getting clean water. One way to get clean water is by sedimentation techniques. Sedimentation technique is a way to separate solids and liquids. Using sedimentation techniques water can be separated from particles that can cause the water to become cloudy. Therefore an automatic water purification device is designed by controlling the water level and the turbidity level of water on the settling tank using float switch level sensor and analog turbidity sensor controlled by Atmega 16. When the water level is 0 mm to 600 mm, the pump opening is 0 % or full cover. Pump openings will open at 100% or fully open on the condition of the turbidity sensor to detect the level of turbidity of the water when the water level has reached 700 mm, and when the turbidity sensor has reached a value below 5. So that the distributed water is certainly feasible to use.
