Abstract

Udara bertekanan digunakan sebagai aktuator pada
instrumentasi pabrik yaitu penggerak control valve pneumatic. Udara
ini berasal dari air compressor 101J di pabrik ammonia yang
bertekanan 7 kg/cm². Air comprsesor yang terdapat pada sistem
penyediaan udara bertekanan di PT. Petrokimia merupakan compresor
jenis centrifugal. Compressor sangat penting peranannya dalam proses
pensuplaian udara, sehingga perlu dilakukan evaluasi nilai keandalan
pada sistem kinerja air compressor 101J. Evaluasi yang dilakukan
berkaitan dengan frekuensi waktu kegagalan atau kerusakan komponenkomponen.
Komponen-komponen pada air compressor 101J yang di
evaluasi merupakan komponen yang sering mengalami kegagalan yaitu
rotor, air filter, journal bearing, thurst bearing, oil lubricant, pressure
indicator dan temperature indicator. Nilai keandalan secara
keseluruhan pada sistem air compressor 101J selama waktu operasional
500 jam adalah 0,71. Pada waktu operasional 1000 jam adalah 0,61.
Pada waktu operasional 1500 jam adalah 0,52. Komponen rotor
merupakan komponen yang sering terjadi kegagalan karena disebabkan
impeller tidak stabil, sehingga menyebabkan gaya sentrifugal yang
tidak sesuai. Dampak inilah yang dapat menyebabkan air compressor
101J mengalami trip. Pada pembiayaan preventive maintenance yang
dilakukan pada saat nilai keandalan mencapai 70%, 60% dan 50%
untuk setiap komponen. Pada Rotor diperoleh US$ 4.654; US$ 3.750
dan US$ 3.433. Pada perhitungan pembiayaan maintenance, jika
dilakukan preventive maintenance pada nilai keandalan yang lebih
kecil, maka biaya yang dibutuhkan akan semakin besar. ========== Pressure air used as actuator for plant instrumentation means
that driving pneumatic control valve. The air coming from the air
compressor in ammonia plant 101J pressure of 7 kg / cm². Air
Compressor contained in the instrument air supply system in PT.
Petrokimia is a type of centrifugal compressor. Compressor very
important role in the supply of air, so it is necessary to evaluate the
value of reliability in the performance of air compressor system 101J.
Evaluation relating to the time-frequency component failure or
functions. Components of air compressor 101J evaluated is components
often run into failure, it is rotor, air filter, journal bearing, thurst
bearing, oil lubricant, pressure indicator, and temperature indicator.
Result analysis conducted overall reliability of the values obtained in air
compressor system 101J over 500 hours of operational time is 0,71.
Over 1000 hours of operational time is 0,61. Over 1500 hours of
operational time is 0,52. The rotor component is the component most
often occurs due to unstable due to the impeller, causing unstable
centrifugal force. This impact can cause the air compressor 101J
experience trip. In financing of preventive maintenance on reliability get
up to 70%, 60% and 50% on a components. Rotor obtainable US$
4.654; US$ 3.750 and US$ 3.433. In the calculation of maintenance
financing, if performed preventive maintenance on reliability values are
smaller, then the costs involved will be even greater.
