Abstract
Ekstrak ampas anggur (Vitis vinifera) dan daun kumis kucing
(Orthosiphon stamineus) merupakan bahan organic yang dapat
digunakan sebagai bio-inhibitor korosi. Dalam penelitian ini
diaplikasikan pada baja API 5L grade B dalam lingkungan NaCl 3,5%.
Variasi konsentrasi dari inhibitor ampas anggur dan daun kumis kucing
adalah 0, 100, 200, 300, 400, dan 500 mg/L serta 0, 1000, 2000, 3000,
4000, dan 5000 mg/L. Untuk menganalisa pengaruh penambahan dari
kedua inhibitor tersebut, maka dilakukan serangkaian pengujian. Uji
spectrometer untuk mengetahui komposisi kimia baja, uji Uv-Vis untuk
mengetahui total flavonoid inhibitor, uji FTIR, uji weight loss, Tafel
polarisasi, dan EIS. Dari hasil uji weight loss diperoleh laju korosi
terendah pada penambahan inhibitor ampas anggur dan daun kumis
kucing masing-masing sebesar 1,4826 mpy dan 0,3432 mpy. Efisiensi
inhibisi tertinggi diperoleh ketika penambahan inhibitor ampas anggur
sebanyak 400 mg/L dan daun kumis kucing sebanyak 3000 mg/L. ============= Grape pomace (Vitis vinifera) and kumis kucing leaves
(Orthosiphon stamineus) extracts are organic substances which can be
used as bio-corrosion inhibitor. In this study, each of extract is applied
for API 5L grade B steel in 3,5% NaCl. The variations of concentration
for each grape pomace and kumis kucing leaves extract are 0, 100, 200,
300, 400, 500 mg/L, and also 0, 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000 mg/L. To
analyze the addition effect for each inhibitor, then performed a series of
examination. The spectrometer test is used to determine the chemical
composition of specimen, Uv-Vis test to determine total flavonoid,
FTIR, weight loss, tafel polarization and EIS. From the weight loss
result is obtained by the lowest corrosion rate for the addition of grape
pomace and kumis kucing leaves are 1,4826 mpy and 0,3432 mpy,
respectively. The highest inhibition efficiency obtained at 400 mg/L for
grape pomace and 3000 mg/L for kumis kucing leaves inhibitors.
