Abstract
Sistem proteksi tenaga listrik adalah hal yang sangat penting dalam proses penyaluran daya. Karena, dengan adanya gangguan akan mempengaruhi kontinuitas supply daya listrik yang dapat menimbulkan penurunan produktivitas suatu plant industri. Gangguan yang terjadi juga dapat menyebabkan kerusakan pada peralatan listrik yang dimiliki industri tersebut. PT. Surya Pamenang Kediri pernah mengalami trip yang diakibatkan oleh starting motor. Permasalahan tersebut menghambat proses produksi dalam pabrik yang akhirnya menyebabkan kerugian dan penurunan kualitas produksi. Hal itu dapat terjadi karena sejak pengoperasian plan PT. Surya Pamenang Kediri belum pernah dilakukan studi kelayakannya. Pada Tugas Akhir ini dilakukan studi koordinasi proteksi overcurrent relay dan groundfault relay pada sistem kelistrikan PT. Surya Pamenang Kediri. Untuk melakukan studi koordinasi proteksi ini perlu dilakukan pemodelan sistem kelistrikan dengan menggunakan software ETAP 12.6.0. Langkah selanjutnya yang dilakukan adalah analisis loadflow dan short circuit, menentukan nilai arus pickup, time dial dan mengatur grading time antar rele dengan menggunakan standart IEEE-242 yaitu 0,2 s/d 0,4 detik. Hasil dari studi koordinasi proteksi pada sistem kelistrikan PT. Surya Pamenang Kediri yaitu didapatkan setting rele pengaman dan hasil dari plot kurva arus yang menunjukkan koordinasi proteksi sudah benar dan sesuai standard IEEE-242.

Electric power protection system is very important in the process of power distribution. Because, with the existence of interference will affect the continuity of electricity supply which can cause a decrease in the productivity of an industrial plant. Disturbances that occur can also cause a damage to the electrical equipment owned by the industry. PT. Surya Pamenang Kediri has experienced a trip due to motor starting. These problems inhibit the production process in the factory which ultimately causes losses and decreases the quality of production. This can happen because since the operation of the plan of PT. Surya Pamenang Kediri has never done a feasibility study. In this Thesis, was conducted coordination studies of overcurrent relay protection and groundfault relay on the electrical system of PT. Surya Pamenang Kediri. To carry out this coordination study, it is necessary to do electrical system modeling using ETAP 12.6.0 software. The next step taken is loadflow and short circuit analysis, determining the pickup current value, time dial and set the inter-relay grading time using the IEEE-242 standard, which is 0.2 to 0.4 seconds. The results of the protection coordination study on the electrical system of PT. Surya Pamenang Kediri, which is obtained by the protection relay settings and the results of a plot of current curves that indicate protection coordination is correct and suitable to the IEEE-242 standard.
