Abstract
Circuit breaker merupakan bagian penting dalam sistem tenaga listrik yang berfungsi untuk mengurangi resiko kerusakan pada peralatan listrik, sebuah circuit breaker harus mampu bekerja optimal saat kondisi normal maupun saat gangguan terjadi. Saat beroperasi, terdapat beberapa fenomena yang muncul, salah satunya adalah transient recovery voltage. Transient recovery voltage adalah tegangan transien yang terjadi di seluruh terminal pada peralatan switching pada circuit breaker setelah ganguan arus terjadi. Fenomena transient recovery voltage perlu diperhatikan karena berpengaruh terhadap kinerja dari circuit breaker. Kemudian seiring dengan kebutuhan beban yang meningkat, kompleksitas dari sistem tenanga listrik juga akan bertambah, penambahan peralatan atau komponen akan mempengaruhi kinerja dan keandalan dari sistem, seperti penambahan komponen yang bersifat induktif akan berdampak pula pada karakteristik transien pada circuit breaker. Oleh karena itu perlu di pelajari dan dianalisa mengenai dampak penambahan komponen yang bersifat induktif terhadap fenomena transient recovery voltage pada circuit breaker tegangan tinggi. Hasil dari tugas akhir ini saat kondisi penambahan komponen induktif pada sisi sumber memiliki rata-rata kenaikan nilai TRV sebesar 0,0175%, rata-rata penurunan nilai RRRV sebesar 0,08% setiap penambahan.

Circuit breaker is an important part of an electrical power system that serves to reduce the risk of damage to electrical equipment, a circuit breaker must be able to work optimally during normal conditions and when interference occurs. When operating, there are several phenomena that arise, one of which is transient recovery voltage. Transient recovery voltage is a transient voltage that occurs in all terminals on the switching equipment on the circuit breaker after a fault current occurs. The transient recovery voltage phenomenon needs to be considered because it affects the performance of the circuit breaker. Then along with the increased load requirements, the complexity of the electric calm system will also increase, the addition of equipment or components will affect the performance and reliability of the system, such as the addition of inductive components will also have an impact on transient characteristics of the circuit breaker. Therefore, it needs to be studied and analyzed regarding the impact of adding inductive components to the phenomenon of transient recovery voltage on high voltage circuit breakers. The results of this thesis when conditions inductive component additions on the source side had an average increase in value of TRV at 0.0175%, the average decline in value by 0.08% RRRV each addition.
